Yes merlot I did mean Stefan. I've had a long day, followed by a meal with our 4 adult children and their toddlers, it was lovely but chaotic and a bit tiring so I've got my eastern europeans mixed up.

You sound as if you have had a lovely, if tiring, day Iam. Mine has been a long one as my lovely DiL graduated today and the wonders of technology meant it was streamed in real time - starting at 5 a.m. our time! It was worth it though and that, FB and emails meant we could all - from which ever part of the world we are in - be part of the congratulations and celebrations.

Maybe Caz will rent number 1 The Green, after release from HMP. She and her baby can live there, housing benefit will pay the rent. Pat's returning backbone will ensure that she supports Helen who will help Caz regain care of her other children.

I always think SW means social worker and GP is general practitioner. Takes my brain a while to key in.

I do wonder if Kaz.was just a story device.or if she will come in again. She was so pivotal to Helen's rebirth and they were good friends.

There is a certainly a cross over LD. If you say GP to me I might, if we were talking about illness, etc., think General Practitioner but if it was general my default is a type of sailing dinghy I learned to sail in when I was young in the wonderful bay near where we lived in Cyprus. (Thank you for prompting a lovely memory)

I think we got to know Kaz well and it would be nice if she came back in and if Helen could help her as she owes her a lot really and I think she became very aware of that.

I also hope we don't loose Ian. As I have said before I think the none Archer-family characters are very important to carry story lines forward and give it a sense of real life interaction. Ian and Adam are in that middle generation we will need as time goes by.

I wonder if Ian would have been prepared to carry on knowing about Adam's infidelities but not confronting him if he hadn't been humiliated in court?

Probably not, phoenix. I think it's a shame that having put Rob on the back foot by not reacting to his taunts the night before his wedding, Ian is now going to give Rob the satisfaction of thinking he's wrecked the relationship when really it's Adam who's at fault.

The relationship may not be over yet, of course. I think the public humiliation would be difficult to bear and other people knowing does mean you have to face things in a way you don't if you are basically the only one. It feels as if living in Ambridge my be increasingly uncomfortable for Rob even if he has somewhere to live.

Another lovely and proper 'Archer's' episode ... which has me wondering when Rob is going to pop up next and what he is going to do!
