I always saw him as a cad! Sadly, I fear Lilian's need for excitement may get the better of her. Mind you, she's between two unreliable, unfaithful, self seeking men isn't she. Maybe Mat will be broke but then, Miranda will no doubt do all she can to ensure Justin is as well.

Does anyone else remember Matt's habit of never being able to just say "No" or "Yes"?

You're right to describe Lilian as a risk taker. Her personality isn't going to change at this stage of her life. She enjoyed an affair with Justin but I dont believe she has ever been besotted with him, as she was with Mat. I wish she ask for her money and belongings back and send him packing. Likely? ?

I have got Lilian so wrong in the past so I am reluctant to feel I understand her character but Peggy did say she had been really hurt and that she (Lillian) wouldn't let that happen again - so I am hoping 'Peggy' understands her daughter.

Trouble is Lilian's character is a risk taker who likes living on the edge and having a lot of fun. Not sure she'll settle for a comfortable pampered life with Justin. We'll see. She is getting a bit long in the tooth now for all the angst that Matt brings.

Matt stole from her and took all her security - financial and personal - away. I would like her to be written telling him where to go - hopefully after he pays back what he took.

Can't wait to hear Lilian's reaction, and Justin's.
I used to like Matt and Lilian together, they were funny, though Matt was always dodgy.

I prefer this Pip to the old whiney one but yes the "Tobee" is awful. Prefer this Tom too, the old one sounded just too smug.

David and Ruth have long got on my nerves, but after all that I'll still listen. Why stop now when I've been a fan since the first episode and I was a child of around seven.

I always listen to the Archers in the bath, it is my little bit of ME time, but when I heard that " Pusscat" I almost slipped under the water in shock . Anyone else think they Archers are trying too hard now. We don't need something dramatic happening so often, surely. It is a tale of farming Folk in a rural environment. I agree about Pip too, cannot stand this " new" one
