So, as the trial has been and gone, we are all glad that Helen won, and Rob had his true self revealed, will the rift 'tween Adam & Ian be healed?

Whose jam will be judged to be the best? Will Joe approach his final rest?

Will Grange Farm rent be paid on time?

Can I be arsed inspired to write more drivel rhyme?

Away we go!

merlotgran Fri 13-Jan-17 20:17:01

Wow! I'd all but given up on Stefan. Is Rob going to murder him?

AyjayF Fri 13-Jan-17 19:43:35

OMG. Here comes Stefan!

Lazigirl Fri 13-Jan-17 09:40:38

merlogran keeping it zipped on Gransnet.........really?

merlotgran Thu 12-Jan-17 20:09:03

Jill ought to join Gransnet. We could teach her a thing or two about keeping it zipped or risk alienating yourself from the family.

Helen is the same old Helen....ME ME ME. Roy is a true friend.

AyjayF Thu 12-Jan-17 20:02:53

Back off Helen!!
I'm loving Roy. The voice of reason.xxx

I'm beginning to go off Jill big time! No way did Toby cause her fall, it was her own stubborn idea to take down the cards. For once he behaved like a responsible adult!
Is she experiencing some mental deterioration?

I suspect that Miranda and Justin meet each others needs socially and that divorce or separation would be too costly, in many ways, than continuing to live as they probably have for many years.

NfkDumpling Tue 10-Jan-17 22:34:21

I think Justin has been naughty before. I wonder why Miranda is hanging on to him when she could get quite a nice divorce settlement.

And yes, I think Henweee grew up suddenly at his birthday party.

chelseababy Tue 10-Jan-17 22:08:29

Justin is being kept on a tight leash! How much does Miranda know or suspect?

AyjayF Tue 10-Jan-17 19:45:46

Is it me or has Henry's voice got older?

AyjayF Tue 10-Jan-17 19:19:16

Good to hearMirandas voice. Do we know who's playing the role?

NfkDumpling Sun 08-Jan-17 08:14:48

A local infants school has one of the children reading out the options on their phone answering machine. Brilliantly. He/she would make an excellent job of being Henwy.

The Archers seems to have quite a few controlling gits at the moment.

Never mind Rob, we now have Toby who has Pip wrapped around his little finger and will no doubt spend all her money, Justin, who is using Lilian and is on course to stuff Home Farm because Brian is behaving like an idiot. Brian is -lying in his teeth laying on the emotional blackmail to get Jenny onside with regard to the land purchase and now Tom is trying to take control of Kirsty and the baby but thankfully Kirsty is made of much stronger stuff than Helen.

Luckygirl Sat 07-Jan-17 12:18:15

Bit puzzled that Kirsty slept with Tom in the first place if she still hates him so much. I had taken it as a sign of forgiveness, but apparently not. Silly girl - should have found a condom.

Lazigirl Sat 07-Jan-17 11:57:53

Thanks for info shysal but I'm with you on this one merlo, can it really be down to cost?

merlotgran Fri 06-Jan-17 14:59:06

I can understand the lines being recorded separately but why the need for anonymity on the radio and not on television?

TV dramas often feature child actors much younger than Henry and very good they are too.

Probably down to production budget/costs.

merlotgran Fri 06-Jan-17 14:53:07

That article was written in April when there was a lot of speculation about who plays Henry. It could be a young actor in her teens or twenties - not necessarily a child. Read between the lines.

Sorry, I still don't buy it.

Carol1ne63 Fri 06-Jan-17 14:45:46

When is Pip going to dump Toby?
And I wish Susan wouldn't moan so much - she's so pretentious.
And when is Lilian going to find a lovely man that isn't someone else's?

shysal Fri 06-Jan-17 14:35:35

This article tells us that the actor who plays Henry is real.

I wouldn't worry too much about the parents. They're probably in their nineties. grin

I still don't believe 'Henry' is a real boy.

They're not going to tell us it's an adult putting on a child's voice are they?

Iam64 Fri 06-Jan-17 10:50:24

I feel a bit sorry for the lad and his parents, in real life I mean. He's the subject of some very unpleasant comments on some forums. I'm still shocked at the vitriol some folk give themselves permission to post on the internet

Lazigirl Fri 06-Jan-17 10:22:09

I have looked to see if an actor plays Henry Iam64 and couldn't find out, so that's quite interesting and surprising. I have a GS of 5 yrs old and he sounded like Henry when he was about 2 and is much more mature now. Great scene with Susan.

AyjayF Thu 05-Jan-17 22:23:54

Even the vicar is running out of patience with Rob.

Nelliemoser Thu 05-Jan-17 14:05:17

Roy and Kirsty sound like a good match as there is too much baggage with Tom, but it would be complcated as Tom is the father.

AyjayF Thu 05-Jan-17 11:58:14

Susan seems to be getting lots of good storylines. Great stuff!
