So, as the trial has been and gone, we are all glad that Helen won, and Rob had his true self revealed, will the rift 'tween Adam & Ian be healed?

Whose jam will be judged to be the best? Will Joe approach his final rest?

Will Grange Farm rent be paid on time?

Can I be arsed inspired to write more drivel rhyme?

Away we go!

Good old Lilian....Now work your magic on Justin.

AyjayF Wed 19-Oct-16 20:18:58

Lilians back. Hooray!!

Elrel Wed 19-Oct-16 20:52:49

I thought Rob would be hanging around the hunt like a bad smell.
Loved the practical and sensitive help Lilian gave Helen over sorting her stuff from the cottage. It also enabled Helen to recall some of Rob's coercion and, more happily, moments from when she and Henry were happy together before.

The story about Tony restoring an old tractor was used some years ago. Can anyone else remember it? There was a young student (female) on the farm who helped him and he became infatuated with her, if I remember correctly.

Katie1 I think this is the storyline. Tony and Pat's oldest son John 20ish at the time was killed on a tractor his dad was trying to restore. I think there was a bit of a row before John had stomped off in a huff to use this tractor. He was angry because his parents didn't like his relationship with Sharon.
Sharon ended up pregnant by John. Then in recent years Pat discovered that John had fathered a postumous child with Sharon who by then was living in Yorkshire. That baby is "Johnny" Pat and Tony's grandson who eventually came back to work as an apprentice farmer with P&T. Please correct if I have got it wrong.

I have been listening to this soap for far too long.

£30,000 in legal feels hanging over the family. Let's hope that tractor increases in value rather quickly.

One thing that occurred to me was that if Helen does report Rob and the police investigate, she will be eligible for criminal injuries compensation. It's unlikely to be £30,000 but it's possible that both she and Henry would be awarded compensation. It's given if the victim cooperates with the police investigation, even if the perpetrator is not either tried or convicted.
Plus, Rob really does have it coming!

Rob, arrgghh!!!!

merlotgran Sun 23-Oct-16 20:45:29

Lovely to hear him well and truly on the back foot though.

I wonder if there will be an empty farmhouse or something befitting his delusions of status on one of the estates he'll be managing. Farmworkers cottages and manager's houses that are no longer tied are often used as holiday lets so I won't be surprised if Rob waltzes straight into an available des res!

Where did Charlie live?

AyjayF Sun 23-Oct-16 21:27:16

Yes. Where did Charlie live merlotgran. Can't remember.

It's getting quite banal now with Susan going on about beauty treatments. Think they are teasing us re Ian, perhaps he is going after all?

merlotgran Wed 26-Oct-16 10:25:18

Maybe Adam will get so fed up with being answerable to Rob he goes to join Debbie in Hungary?

AyjayF Fri 28-Oct-16 20:44:57

Good to get the vicar back in the storyline. Realistic that the more Rob abuses him the more 'saintly' he becomes. Rob is becoming more + more unhinged.

merlotgran Fri 28-Oct-16 20:50:17

When Alan turned up at Brookfield looking for Jill I thought he was Harrison. They sound so alike.

Rob's working himself up nicely for hallowe'en.

Lazigirl Sat 29-Oct-16 18:59:34

????. Merlot

suzied Sat 29-Oct-16 19:02:53

Re the Toby n Rex storyline - how many adult middle class men call their brother "bro"?

Elrel Sun 30-Oct-16 23:13:26

Merlot - I heard the omnibus and wondered for a while why Ursula had phoned Harrison! Far too similar!
Nothing adult about Toby, nor indeed about Pip these days. Did she really call him 'Baby'?!
I was a little surprised at Neil and Susan romping on the rug, is this to adjust the balance so that married life seems fun filled?! I enjoyed the light relief of Roy's dating site, especially U ally with Jazzer muscling in on it!

Maggiemaybe Mon 31-Oct-16 00:08:33

how many adult middle class men call their brother "bro"?

Sadly, far too many, suzied, if Facebook is anything to go by. I think they imagine it makes them sound a bit edgy grin

chelseababy Mon 31-Oct-16 05:33:27

I thought Alan was Richard Locke! Are we getting a SriLankan Scottish vet?

suzied Mon 31-Oct-16 06:15:31

The TobyRex storyline has got to be the most boring / unlikely.

AyjayF Mon 31-Oct-16 07:21:29

Hopefully the vet will be a new character. A fellow Scot for Jazzer!

Lazigirl Mon 31-Oct-16 20:07:08

Rob with a gun shock. Lock all the doors in Ambridge!

merlotgran Mon 31-Oct-16 20:19:21

I wonder if Rob will be a rubbish shot and start blaming the gamekeeper/ beaters/useless gun/stand number/Jennifer's lunch?

Look out Will.

Elrel Mon 31-Oct-16 21:39:35

Where's Charlie? He knows what Rob did last time. He'll be embezzling again and get someone else blamed.
Good if he loses it at the shoot, Justin might have his eyes opened. Hope he doesn't actually shoot anyone though!

AyjayF Mon 31-Oct-16 21:52:06

Rob plus gun equals YIKES!!

Luckygirl Tue 01-Nov-16 07:54:10

The whole Justin/Rob thing makes not a whit of sense! What can Justin be thinking of?
