Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

GS1 is just 10 and loved it. Sat riveted to the screen with no sign of his ADHD I loved it but it is a much darker film than The Philosopher's Stone for instance.

Thanks for the feedback NanKate and Ninathenana, I suspected as much, but thought I would ask an opinion from those who have seen it. Probably more suitable for an older child, the trailer looked very good when I was at the cinema recently.

H and I thought the plot was pretty thin but the special effects were great. Even better in 3D

To answer your question Terry I would say No. It said it was suitable for children 12 and over. There are some scary and violent parts to the film which would scare a 7 year old. There are also some funny parts youngsters would like.

I'm wondering if it would be suitable for a 6 nearly 7 year old.
