Yes, I've seen that with dgd and we were both impressed. ?

Deedaa Thu 01-Dec-16 21:38:11

I saw the car brakes one and GS1 was quite impressed by one that was filmed in our local swimming pool.

Me too, AyjayF. DGS2 (aged 3) introduced me to it this week and we watched a couple of episodes (the car brakes and the escalator ones). He was enthralled and seemed to take it all in and remember it (I struggled with both, tbh grin).

Has anyone else seen 'Do You Know?' on CBeebies. It is just brilliant. Maddie ( great presenter) explains how things work eg brakes on a car or how they are made eg fluorescent material. It's aimed at 3 to 7 year olds but does not dumb anything down. I've learned loads from it!

To paraphrase Bing's Flop, it looks like The Big Bang Theory could be a gran thing.. I love it too.

I love Big Bang too! I'm afraiuafraiud I must be a big kid because I have just finished watching the entire run of Mako Mermaids (four seasons). I got hooked on it at my DD's as my 9 yr old GD watched it.confused

I love The Big Bang Theory, GS1 could be Sheldon's twin! I also like Robot Wars, Air Crash Investigation and Wheeler Dealers.

Greyduster Wed 30-Nov-16 16:27:05

Robot Wars! And Extreme Fishing. ?

Apparently now the actors in BBT get paid £1M per episode, so stopped watching. No one is worth that.

I like Bridezillas, save it for weekend and used to watch Don't Be Tardy on ITVBe. Also like Baggage Handlers and Storage Hunters. Good guilty pleasures. smile

Innocent times Ninathenana. Our guilty pastime was eating chips in bed. shock
GK, Amy is good of course, but Sheldon's lines are so barbed! grin

I used to love Pimp my Ride on MTV. The people's faces when they saw their cars really cheered me up and the love and imagination put into the work was really impressive.

And the Big Bang Theory - Yeah! Bring it on!

Grannyknot Tue 29-Nov-16 19:19:14

purple smile

Amy is my favourite character in BBT.

aggie Tue 29-Nov-16 19:06:00

I sometimes have to record it and FF to see if they make it .......... cheating !

ninathenana Tue 29-Nov-16 18:36:41

Ice Truckers aggie I have to watch that peering through my fingers grin
Heart in mouth viewing.

aggie Tue 29-Nov-16 17:46:18

I am planning to watch The Lie Detective on channel 4 tonight after hearing some Radio 1 DJs discussing it. Might not be my thing.

LadyGracie Tue 29-Nov-16 16:44:53

I like Super vet, 24 hours in A&E and anything else animal or hospital related. I've also watched Neighbours since it started.

gettingonabit Tue 29-Nov-16 12:10:24

I love Air Crash Investigation. I'm watching it right nowblush.

ninathenana Tue 29-Nov-16 08:43:47

BAZINGA !!
Our whole family are Sheldon fans. There are several T-shirts available D has one with 'soft kitty' on.
When we were first married in 1970s H and my guilty pleasure was watching Multi Coloured Swap Shop on a Saturday morning.

Purpledaffodil Tue 29-Nov-16 08:28:46

I like Big Bang Theory too Grannyknot. Did you know you can buy a Sheldon tee shirt saying "I'm not crazy my mother had me tested"? Used to like Third rock from the sun too, but that seems to have disappeared.

Grannyknot Tue 29-Nov-16 08:05:10

Big Bang Theory? smile although I'm always telling Sheldon to shut right up.

morethan2 Tue 29-Nov-16 03:05:01

I love all the dog programs, which is fine except I don't have a dog

Shanma Tue 29-Nov-16 00:05:45

I don't watch TV now but I used to love Scooby Doo :-)

shysal Mon 28-Nov-16 14:04:00

I sometimes like to watch programmes which might not normally appeal to a 70 year old Gran. For example I love Car S.O.S. and Ink Master (a tattooing competition). Do you have any unusual favourites?
