I could imagine a crowd of Trump supporters sitting round playing that awful board game - only they'd be going round the board picking up Muslims.

So depressing to hear the things that happened, yet so uplifting to see the people who had survived.

I think I have mentioned before that when DH was driving round Europe he parked up one night in the dark and was aware of a very unpleasant atmosphere. In the daylight he was able to see the sign that said Dachau! And DH is not an imaginative person.

Why are we so helpless at learning from history?

Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit is an excellent book. I read it to DD2 when she was recovering from measles and she read it to her yr.6 class last term. They were so immersed in it they applauded at the end.

So do I, Elrel. Did you see the group picture of a very big family? They all died except for one man. Very shocking. How were so many Germans hoodwinked into believing that what was going on was right? It's beyond belief.
