Bob Newhart was the driving instructor fellow. My late uncle always sang a Benny Hill song called Gypsy Rock.
I love Stanley Holloway's " Lion and Albert", and lots of Matt McGinn songs.

Used to love listening to Gerrard Hoffnung's monologues, especially the one about the bricklayer. Can anyone remember the American's name who did several comical monologues, can remember ones about Sir Walter Raleigh and a driving instructor. Loved Flanders and Swan too.

New ones are few and far between these days, but I was brought up with Flanders and Swan - posted the YouTube link to 'The Gas Man Cometh' on a different thread this morning. I also remember Terry Scott's 'My Bruvver' with great affection:
