This looks incredible and I hope to get to see it on a big screen. Van Gogh'slife and art fascinates me and this is ground -breaking cinema. Anyone else excited at the prospect?

I love Van Goghs work and have read up a lot over the years about his life as people believe it was.... with such a complex mentally ill man no one really knows what was happening inside his head and everyone’s interpretation of what they think happened is so vastly different
I hasn’t heard about this film thanks for showing the link I had a look at the trailer and dont at the moment share your excitement Imperfect looks wonderfully made but I m not that keen on cartoons and I didn’t understand why they were using different British and Irish accents for the characters.... but that’s me Do let me know when you go if it lives up to your expectations I d be really interested
It’s got to be better than Turner such a disappointing film I looked forward to it so much and it was so boring I couldn’t wait to get out the cinema

I don't like cartoons very much, but I am excited about how the paintings have been used as a backdrop to the story telling. The clip I saw on BBC Film review pointed to the script being a little overblown / turgid in places, but it does look visually stunning to my mind.
As for tunrer - yes, big thumbs down ...

Tch - should have been more careful - Turner ...

Looking forward to seeing Loving Vincent soon when it comes to our local arthouse cinema.
