I sort of liked it but I am so glad I am not the only one commenting on Sarah Parish's strange lip arrangement. Was it and the extreme thinness deliberate to make her seem more harsh. I liked the uncluttered kitchen - shows what a control freak she is - mine is like that - oops!!!

We've just watched it on "catch-up", quite disappointed really, although must admit, I thought she was that way inclined from the start. Will there be a series 2.

I was quite gripped by it up until the end, which was very frustrating and disappointing.

Really just another take on corrupt policemen/women. I'd far rather watch the very gripping Line of Duty.

Yes I was drawn to watching her lips and her fake looking teeth which were polar bear white.

Enjoyed the series bar the ending.

Gosh. I'd recorded it. Am half way through episode 2 and just not enjoying it. Doesn't sound worth continuing. Think I'll just delete it all. Thanks Grans. Looks like you've saved me a bit of time!

Been thinking about this. There must be a sequel surely. Too many people know she’s toxic (the other Superintendent, Anya, her son, and the husband) so these loose ends need tying up.

Very disappointing to finish the series with evil triumphing but it seems to happen a lot. Must remind myself there are good people in the real world.

Left wondering what happened to the young "cold case dectective" did she die ? (I fell asleep for 10mins) the end leaves it open for another series I think otherwise it was a total waste of my time.

No, didn’t see any of that coming at all! So I suppose it was all the more shocking for that reason. Well I did suspect the above comment “that she’d probably” although didn’t think it would actually happen. Her own “history” surprised me too. I thought it was very good. Talk about Police corruption! Id welcome another series. Still unsure about Jo’s paternity but guess not what she alleged to,him.

Totally disappointed with the ending. It showed such promise but I like all the loose ends tied up. I didn't really get it at all.

Well yes one of those not so complete ending but still good I felt with another twist at the end. Maybe she'll be back to get her comeuppance.

Well that is 4 hours I have wasted. I actually guessed who the murderer was in the first episode.
Sarah Parish has ruined her face like so many others, why do they think that the duck bill looks attractive ?

Cannot believe I wasted 4 hours watching something with such promise but such a unsatisfactory ending.

Have to agree with Alima found the whole storyline unbelievable, perhaps ending a cliffhanger for another series.

I thought she was an awful person, cruel, manipulative and basically evil. Programs like this do not show the police force in a good light. With all the current issues going on in the government and establishment it shows how it could be happening in real life. Scarey!!!!
