Reindeer family and me

It is my dream to see the northern lights! It was a lovely programme.

We have seen the Northern Lights but personally feel that a beautiful British sunset is far more spectacular.

Oh me too. I was engrossed in this programme. He went from being absolutely terrified of the reindeer to sheer respect. I love all Gordon's programmes. The wolves one is spectacular.

Going to a talk he's giving next month; really looking forward to it!!

Yes a lovely programme, bit like a short sleigh ride broadcast over Christmas, which was glorious.

Is Gordon Buchanan's talk happening somewhere in the North East,please Tegan ?

I don't know if he's touring around. We just heard about it at Attenborough Nature reserve and snapped up a couple of tickets because they were selling out fast. It's at quite a small venue in Beeston. As with Chris Packham a few years ago, these people give these talks to do everything they can to make people care about the world around them; quite humbling, really.

We are planning to do a cruise up the Norwegian coast next year and may be lucky enough to see the Aurora. I have heard the lights called 'the merry dancers'. The sunsets off the west coast of Scotland are stunning but they don't have the movement of the Northern Lights.

you can see the Aurora here in the west of Scotland there have been some fantastic displays in the past year ,around Loch Lomond area and a bit further north
