I confess, I am watching it. Someone phoned me Monday night and told me Anne Widdie and Rachel Johnson were in there. I think Widdie is great , met her once when she was here canvassing.

It has been women only to celebrate 100 years of women given the vote, sadly men are going in tonight.

It is good to see Anne learning about banter, and fitting in with the boys as well as the girls. She almost seems to be having fun! smile

Anton du beke said when Anne went in she had a great sense of humour , I don't think she is learning about banter after all those years in Westminster ?

Right so India has gone, she obviously realised she had got it all wrong, tried to backtrack but, too late, don't think she will be too missed! The "showmance" seems to be hotting up bet her parents are cringing, Wayne wants it known he's not small all over, good job Ann didn't see, an attack of the vapours would have been forthcoming! I have my money on Shane/Courtney to wingrin

I fear Anne will be next out. .

So pleased that India has gone she tried so hard to back step right through to the end silly person.
I hope Widdie stays in longer she seems to be coming into herself these last few days.
The overall winner I would like to see is Shane L he seems such a caring person and gets his opinions across without causing offence to anyone.

Whilst I agreed with Rachel's assertion that India needed to change the record, I think I would have preferred Jonny to have gone. He's part of the trio of Jack the Lads, their chit chat is quite banal they aren't very articulate and their conversation frequently veers into blantant sexism. The older guys, John Barnes and Shane Lynch for example, not only are more interesting and are actually famous for something but are far more considered in their opinions. Also Jonny sounds as if he has permanent catarrh, maybe he has so commiserations to him if that's the case, but he doesn't sound good to listen to .I didn't see it last night, but know India went, I'm not sure I'm going to keep viewing it's such a commitment time wise

Funny Anne trying to curl her hair!! She's so sweet!!

wot Sun 14-Jan-18 09:33:57

Because Anne was looking in the mirror, she couldn't fit her hair into the straighteners. I know how that feels!

I record the show and watch it when I first get up. This way I can fast forward any bits I don't think I am going to like and the adverts. And my husband doesn't get up till later so it's a bit of 'me time' first thing. Certainly works for me! smile

NotAGran55 Sun 14-Jan-18 09:56:24

Who is be Anne on CBB ? smile

nanaK54 Sun 14-Jan-18 19:00:08

"you can forget the massage sunshine" - my favourite line from last night's episode

Anniebach Sun 14-Jan-18 19:09:56

That amused me too nanaK

Anniebach Sun 14-Jan-18 21:36:52

Danial is crying because he is missing his mother ! Perhaps I have missed something about him, I do find the men boring

wot Sun 14-Jan-18 21:43:12

I've gone off men.

Anniebach Sun 14-Jan-18 21:58:18

With you wot ?

Lynnebo Sun 14-Jan-18 23:06:40

I thought Daniel was crying because it was his 'old man's' birthday ( his dad is dead) and he would normally talk to his mum? (Just watching it on catchup!)

NotAGran55 Mon 15-Jan-18 06:00:49

Anniebach Mon 15-Jan-18 08:47:23

Thank you Lynne, I was puzzled about him being upset .

starbird Wed 17-Jan-18 00:53:32

I was pleasantly surprised at how good they all were with the children

starbird Wed 17-Jan-18 00:56:50

Don’t see enough of Jess and Malika, perhaps they will come forward more after the next evictions.

Devorgilla Wed 17-Jan-18 09:35:05

Just caught up with the latest on CBB. Wonder if Ann will go. A bit of a conflict in the house over her 'puritanical' views and the 'anything is acceptable' view. I was interested to see that Shane L seemed to agree that Ann had a point especially in way women are talked about. Wonder what the surprise twist will be.

wot Thu 18-Jan-18 21:25:47

Anne was funny tonight!

wot Thu 18-Jan-18 21:49:49

Is nobody watching it tonight?!

Devorgilla Thu 18-Jan-18 22:00:20

Yes, wot, I am. Lid starting to come off. Do think Ann got hard done by tonight. Thought she was fair in saving Darren (?) and trying to make the house more fun for the party goers. She was great in the race task.

Devorgilla Thu 18-Jan-18 22:03:14

Hope Ann gets saved if only to irritate the young ones bitching about her. Shane/Courtenay and Malika starting to show another side. Thought Andrew trying to defend Ann showed a nice side to him.
