Tonight’s was sad but believable

We have watched other series of Moving On and they are excellent. I agree Maryeliza the series deserves main stream time. Some really good story lines which I am sure could have been developed, better than a lot of the crap rubbish shown in the evening.

I think two words I would use to describe Moving On is ‘intelligent viewing’ - the episodes really make you think - sometimes you can identify with the situation from your own experience ( I remember not long after my mother died sobbing in Sainsbury’s when I saw her favourite sweets) and other aspects made me think ‘what would I do’ ( especially the child abuse one). They demonstrate the complexity of life yet make the dilemmas that life throws up accessible to us to think about through skilled writing and characterisation and superb acting.

Thanks for suggesting this, I'd never have seen it otherwise. What a great series, really thought provoking and well done. I wish I could see the previous series too.

BBC1 after Doctors - on IPlayer for I think 4 weeks after being broadcast.

I watched the first one yesterday, as we have recorded the series. Jodie May, who played Rachel, was so good, and she wrote it I believe.
