Anyone seen it yet? Just got back from the cinema and not quite sure what I made of it. Pans Labyrinth is one of my favourite films of all time and I'm always hoping the director will come up with something to equal that.

Hi Tegan2, yes we saw it last week and, like you, I didn't (and still don't) know what to make of it! It's had rave reviews and I can't help thinking I must have missed something because whilst I appreciated the special effects and the whole atmosphere of the film, the story itself seemed superficial.

I found it very bleak. And, if I'm honest about it, slightly disturbing.

We have decided not to see it however, DS1 loved it and keeps raving about it.

I saw this too and didnt quite know what to make of it.
It was just too far fetched.

We watched a little of it on a TV film channel, and like Tegan found it bleak, depressing.
Like most recent novels I've started and see no point in finishing.
No wonder there's an increase in depression in the younger generation.
