I have just watched this on DVD as it is such a miserable afternoon and I was feeling very down.
I cannot recommend it highly enough for an inspiring and uplifting story about three highly intelligent African-American women working for NASA in the 1960’s who rocked the white male -dominated hierarchy and blazed a trail for women, particularly of colour, within our living memory.

I saw it at the cinema when it came out and thought it was very good. I was shocked at how these women truly had been "hidden" when in fact they had made a massive contribution to the US Space Program.
Why didn't we know about them when, as women, we were desperate for great role models! And, for me, great black women role models is even better!

And I'm sorry it's a "down" day. No advice, just sympathy from someone who has been where you are nowflowers
Thoughsunshine would help more.

I was so impressed by this film which I saw a few months ago. A revelation to me as to most other people. These amazingly determined women should have been held up as role models to all young women of the intervening generations.

Thanks for the recommendation, I've recorded it. I love a feel good film.
