Just watched the box set on i Player . Really enjoyed it, loved the ending.

Jane10 Sun 27-May-18 11:20:04

Very good. I saved it to have a binge watch last night. So well done.
I'm watching Split too. I quite enjoy it but am constantly amazed by the casual talk of millions of pounds being awarded in divorces etc. Its a different world.

TwiceAsNice Sat 19-May-18 07:47:42

Really enjoyed it not sure the ending was super realistic

sodapop Fri 18-May-18 12:38:12

Proper story and ending, I loved it.

seacliff Fri 18-May-18 11:19:33

I've just watched the ending. I too like that for once we're not being left to guess "who dunnit".

I enjoyed seeing David's relationship with his children gradually improve, and I thought the end was lovely. He had their best interests at heart.

I am actually getting into Split a bit more now, after a very shaky start. Not the greatest, just OK.

glammanana Fri 18-May-18 09:50:53

Excellent drama very good unexpected ending but very good.
I am also watching Split but do have to keep a good watch of what is happening a wee bit of a complicated story line.

Teetime Fri 18-May-18 09:36:25

Excellent acting I thought at the ending.

shysal Fri 18-May-18 09:25:34

Agree it is nice to have a definite ending with no doubt. I actually guessed correctly all along. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

mumofmadboys Fri 18-May-18 09:19:46

I loved it too. Good to have a haapyish ending.

eazybee Fri 18-May-18 09:01:02

A most satisfying ending; how nice to see all issues resolved.

travelsafar Fri 18-May-18 07:32:04

Have watched two episodes on playback and intend to watch the rest this evening. It seems a good storyline so far and i am intrigued!!

OldMeg Thu 17-May-18 22:37:27

Great drama and satisfactory ending with the guilty one being carted away!

merlotgran Thu 17-May-18 22:22:24

For once I got it right.

Great ending.

ninathenana Thu 17-May-18 22:11:42

Well some here worked it out. Well done ? I won't spoil it.
A definite conclusion, thank goodness.

BlueBelle Thu 17-May-18 22:10:10

Wow that was brilliant, won’t say any more, and at last a drama with a proper ending Loved it very sorry it’s finished

Welshwife Thu 17-May-18 09:47:58

I am recording Innocent so we can have a bing session as we have had quite a lot of wet dull days over here and curling up is needed!
I am looking forward to the Jeremy Thorpe film. I thought it was a one off but see it is in several episodes.

Alima Thu 17-May-18 09:08:31

There are lots of red herrings aren’t there. Unless it was a joint enterprise of course. As well as the possibilities mentioned why did the original detective not detect anything?
I’m not sure about Split either. Usually love anything Nicola Walker has been in but this hasn’t made me watch more than episode 1. May go back to it, so little on TV interests me lately. Am looking forward to the Jeremy Thorpe thingy though.

Teetime Thu 17-May-18 08:56:00

Love Hermione - what a good actress always watchable.

Greyduster Thu 17-May-18 08:27:08

Plus one for Hermoine Norris, but I don’t think her character did it, or her husband. I am wondering about David’s brother, or even his absent wife, who Jack mentioned in last night’s episode. But I never get these things right! I don’t like Lee Ingleby’s character at all, though.
Split? Thus far, hmm!

TwiceAsNice Thu 17-May-18 07:33:18

Also girl is only 12 now 5 year olds don't have a lot of past memory especially they might block out trauma

TwiceAsNice Thu 17-May-18 07:31:33

I haven't watched last night's episode yet but watched the first two back to back as I am recording them. It's brilliant I love it, I do confess to a soft spot for Hermione Norris I think she's suc,h a good actress whatever she plays. DD2 and I are watching Split and we seem to be in the minority as we are really enjoying it.

OldMeg Thu 17-May-18 07:03:07

I’ve also got Tom’s exwife in the frame, or even his brother. Then against perhaps he really did do it and the dodgy detective’s gut feeling was right all along.

ninathenana Thu 17-May-18 00:03:31

seacliff I think your right. Too obvious to be Alice aided by husband. Although she did say something to the girl about her sister being the bain of her life (not exact words)
Yes BlueBelle "my children" gggrrrrrrr !
easybee the girl would only have been about five. I'm guessing you've not seen tonight's episode ?

BlueBelle Wed 16-May-18 22:15:29

I m with you storynanny I think it’s the friend Toms ex wife who found out and killed her I think Alice is now too obvious
I m so enjoying this one after the disappointment of Nicola Walker in Split

callgirl1 Wed 16-May-18 22:13:14

I haven`t seen tonight`s episode as yet, but so far I really don`t like the main character, he doesn`t generate sympathy from me, but I can`t decide yet whether he did it or not.
