I went to see this on Tuesday, lovely gentle film with a story line that has a start, middle and end. Anyone else seen and enjoyed??

I loved the book but thought the film was ok. It turned it into a romance, whereas the book has so much more.

Agree 100% with you travelsafar - a lovely film.

“Funny Cow” starring Maxine Peake which I saw last week was a much more challenging and disturbing film, but I do recommend it.
