A series following mainly farmers looking for love.

It is very difficult if nye on impossible for them to meet a partner. The work is long and hard and anyone they find has to be prepared to up sticks move into the farm and get their hands dirty.

Liked watching it but out of the many prospective couples only one pair were successful.....shame

I really enjoyed this programme but was very disappointed that Pete and Helen didn't stay together - I thought they made a great couple.
I hope they make another series smile

Oh, I haven't watched the last one yet! I loved it - thought it was very gentle.

I've not watched the last one yet so I would have appreciated a spoiled alert in title had but never mind it's done now. I thought Helen and Pete were good together at first but then changed my mind when he met her family for some reason but I don't know why .

I also enjoyed it, but was disappointed with the outcome. Better than Love Island! grin

Sorry kitty and Nanabilly for my spoiler - I didn't think! I hope you've seen it now?

Maybe Pete got sick of Helen's incessant nervous giggling, I know I did!

Uh.... are you expected to do spoiler alerts when the programme has already ended?

Nanabilly Fri 08-Jun-18 23:59:44

But it only just ended and not everyone had watched it so if you are going to write the ending it would be nice to not spoil it for others who may not have yet caught up.
You don't have to but it's just nicer if you alert folks.

I think that reading a thread headed 'Love in the Countryside' just after the programme has finished is risking having it spoiled.

I avoided the thread about the Split until I'd watched the last one.

If you haven't watched the last episode of something why on earth go on a thread about it?

Surely it's unfair to expect people who have seen it not to discuss it? A spoiler alert shouldn't be necessary. What are you expecting to see? The weather forecast?

kittylester Sat 09-Jun-18 10:15:00

Quite merlot!

Nanabilly Sat 09-Jun-18 11:52:07

I clicked on it because I had been watching the show and thought it was being discussed but I had not realised it had finished.
Why the nastiness??

overthehill Sat 09-Jun-18 12:38:29

Why the nastiness??

Probably because we've been told to give spoiler alerts when not necessary.

Nanabilly Sat 09-Jun-18 15:19:49

Nobody TOLD anyone to do alerts I said it would be appreciated ...grow up!!
