Brilliant acting, great plot, great camera work. Just wonderful to have something at 9pm on a 'Sunday that we look forward to.
Nicola Walker is fantastic. Her burn out was so well played, long and slow but deadly. She may rally and return for the next series. Sgt Khan (I do apologise for not remembering his name ) was also just great. Quiet, understated, warm, supportive of his Sarg.
As for the psychopathic doctor - fantastic.
More please.

Great series and brilliant ending I was so pleased all the ends were tied up. And the actor was so good you really believed he was capable of killing!

Sodapop - I too noticed the (well deserved) new facial scar. Brilliant acting, AJ truly evil. Has AJ played any likeable parts?

A proper ending after a few recent disappointments - intriguing stories which left us to draw our own conclusions.

Now I must watch the first two of the series. Also looking forward to Vanity Fair.

Just caught up! Wow. Powerful stuff. I did wonder what was wrong with Nicola. Bit of an annoying distraction. That creep though!!

I too thought the 5 male characters in the frame would turn out to be red herrings .

It was an excellent series and I guess it will not have Nicola Walker starring in any follow on series as she is no longer in the job.

Loved Nicola Walker and Stellan Skarsgård in the brilliant BBC series ' River'.

And when the killer was visited in prison, he had an injury on his face so I assumed he had been beaten up by other prisoners.

A brilliant finale such a good series I can't wait for the next one superb acting right through.

Superb! Serial killer! Didn’t see that one coming! I agree Alex Jennings’ performance was superb and the way he portrayed his character to have diminished having been in prison for a while was masterly. Much as I like Nicola Walker, the facial tics got to me in the end.

Yes it was an excellent drama, gripped me all the way through.
The final episode was brilliant, Alex J acted so well and so understated which made him more scary.
Good to have a proper ending as well.

NanKate the actor is Alex Jennings, he really is brilliant. He played Jeremy Thorpe's co-conspirator in A Very English Scandal, and he was the Duke of Windsor in The Crown.

The actor who played the rapist and murderer was such a good actor how he appeared to be calm with a slight grin on his face. Good acting all round.

Nice to see Peter Egan in the production.

Me to Seacliff won’t say any more at moment but it’s bloody good
