Watching live....it's so good

I think the twin sister is somehow involved too. That scene with her kissing the coffin was too dreadfully OTT. The twin who was killed was into drugs etc so the remaining twin may have been involved in all sorts of things. Can't wait for the grand finale.

I think it's one of the wives, but I am wondering about the local detective - he was quick to blame his superior at the time, and is hanging around a lot. Haven't a clue about motive though.
Twin sister would have needed help to get the body to London - and that may have been one of the blokes.

So enjoying this series
And can’t wait for tmrw night.
I think it’s the Twin sister
But it really could be anyone.
Enjoy everyone

I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait to sit down and watch to-morrow evening.
The suspect responsible could go anyway really so many people look suspicious.

I think all the men are red herrings and it's one of the wives. At the moment my money's on the doctor's wife.

We've saved this up so we can watch a couple of episodes Friday & Saturday, then one on Sunday before the finale. So tonight we watched Eps 1 & 2, and we are totally hooked. Writing and acting of the highest quality; Nicola Walker is always excellent and it's a revelation as to what a fine actor Sanjeev Bhaskar has become - a wonderfully nuanced performance from him is certainly adding to our enjoyment.

Just please, please don't let it be the James Fleet character who's the killer!

BlueBelle Fri 17-Aug-18 18:47:38

Well I m with the doctor but then that seems a bit obvious

callgirl1 Fri 17-Aug-18 18:39:23

I`m tossing up between the doctor and the victim`s twin sister.

Shirleyw Fri 17-Aug-18 03:22:11

Looking forward to the last episode Sunday... .any ideas who done it ? ...I think I do then it's another twist so still none the wiser lol.....they all seem suss ?

Love this series, Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar are a great pairing. Nice to see Lymington High Street featured.

Juggernaut Mon 23-Jul-18 13:02:30

We've watched the first two series and are putting bets on 'whodunnit' this time around.
Nicola Walker is a fabulous actress, if she's in anything, you can bet it's going to be good!

Charleygirl Mon 23-Jul-18 12:52:22

I have not seen the previous series but I am thoroughly enjoying this one.

I like Atqui was a bit puzzled expecting a totally new cold case as advertised.

At last something decent to watch on a Sunday evening.

seacliff Mon 23-Jul-18 11:24:36

Just saw the 2nd one, such a great programme. So well done.

annep Fri 20-Jul-18 22:27:30

Loving it. We're also binging on previous series. Always a great cast.

Overthehills Fri 20-Jul-18 22:25:14

Thanks Melting for that explanation. I haven’t watched the previous series (why not?!) so was a bit puzzled. Really enjoyed the first programme of this series.

BlueBelle Fri 20-Jul-18 02:31:47

I love it too, nothing to add
Enjoy the storyline and the acting, great

MeltingMacaron Thu 19-Jul-18 23:37:57

Oh did he, Atqui? I watched on ITV Hub afterwards so I could avoid the commercials so didn't hear the continuity.

It's always the same format, Elrel. Found remains. Forensic work based on things found on or with the remains. Then a narrowing down of the time frame, a trawl through MisPer files for a match and a piecing together of the deceases history and contacts. Brilliant plotting and writing from Chris Lang.

Elrel Thu 19-Jul-18 23:22:00

Melting - that worried me too. I think I'll have to watch the previous two series to get used to the format - and because the acting is so good.

Atqui Thu 19-Jul-18 15:24:47

Oh - thanks. It was the TVs commentary after that puzzled me. The presenter said we'd be back next week for another cold case ( or words to,that effect) to solve. I thought ' Hang on- we haven't solved this one yet!'

MeltingMacaron Thu 19-Jul-18 14:02:33

Atqui That's what will be investigated over the next five episodes. The first episode was all about identifying the body and establishing the four characters who might be suspects.

Atqui Thu 19-Jul-18 13:56:45

I though first episode came to a sudden end. Did we find out who killed the girl they found on the motorway?

schnackie Thu 19-Jul-18 11:16:32

Love this show! Watched the first two series and hope I set my box to record this as I am away for a few weeks. Otherwise, thank goodness for catch-up TV. (Although I can actually send a message from my phone to my TV to record something - from anywhere in the world. I think it must be magic.)

seacliff Thu 19-Jul-18 10:50:51

I really enjoy this programme, great to have a third series. I am tempted to watch the first two series again.

MeltingMacaron Thu 19-Jul-18 10:26:36

I love these series, the format, the forensic investigation, the painstaking detective work and the terrific array of actors brought together headed by the fabulous Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar.

In the first series it was the business guru, the priest, the football coach and the accountant in the frame. In the second: the teacher, the nurse and the barrister. Now we have the doctor, the salesman, the artist and the TV presenter. How are all these connected, I wonder?

I do like that the crime is actually solved by the end of the series and motives are explained unlike some crime dramas of late where there are a lot of loose ends or a deliberate open end meaning that a second series is in the offing. The Loch and Save Me come to mind.
