Paul Hollywood's extra marital love life is in the news again. A sure sign that GBBO is nigh.

Oh dear I missed the other thread I was on my phone. Apologies and yes very happy to make this a GBBO thread. I have seen trailers but they are always very secretive about when it actually starts. I find it a bit odd as it will clearly have been scheduled in ages ago. I assume it si done for the hype but actually it annoys me every year

I won’t be watching TGBBO. I’m not fond of watching yet another cookery programme.

I won't be watching Strictly, but I might watch TGBBO. I'm not fond of watching dancing, unless it's ballet.

To be fair rubytut this was not a case of a couple of months ago . The threads were side by side on the Active threads page and the other one was started at 9.59 this morning

But I didn’t know that TGBBO was starting too!

Maybe this could be a Bake off thread then, not that it matters if there is more than one. While we are on the subject why do people point out that "we had that thread a couple of months ago" there are new people every day and it is impossible to trawl through the hundreds of previous threads.
Bake off is my favourite programme, I am a rubbish baker but it always inspires me to have another go.

We already have a Strictly thread.
Do we need two?
