I thought it was on the BBC as I seem to have been seeing a lot of adverts for it. We only get BBC here???????

Gosh. Hated the Bodyguard! I had recorded it but after the first episode I deleted the recordings and cancelled further recording.
I'm optimistic about Vanity Fair. ITV did Victoria very well. Fingers crossed!

We did it for A or could have been O Level, so I'll be watching. I didn't like it much as a school study, but hope to find it more entertaining now I'm (a lot!) older.

the last tv version was really good, so will compare and contrast the new one.

I'll be watching it on ITV+1 after The Bodyguard.

I remember being allowed to stay up late to watch the TV version in the fifties. Most of it went over my head.

Hated the book

I am going to record it too. I know nothing of the story so hope that I will enjoy it - fingers crossed!

Clashes with 'Bodyguard' and as internet around here does not allow much in the way of downloading am going to have to stay with that. I enjoyed the BBC version a few years ago and even the Reece Witherspoon film was pretty good. Will await verdict on here and might invest in a DVD if its recommended.
