Wow talk about old Hollywood Glamour!!!

I Went to see this yesterday evening and it was thrilling.

From the opening scene to the finale it was breath taking.

The Costumes, the dancing, the singing, the audience appreciation, it was all fantastic. It has to be one of the blingyest (if that is a word) shows ever!!!smile

I’ve directed this show and it is fantastic to work on! Memorable songs. dance routines
and quick changes-loved it!

Yes, travelsafar, we saw it in London earlier in the year and it was amazing! Even DGS who doesn't like "all that dancing stuff" sat up and took notice, and said afterwards that he loved it.

Definitely, anyone who has the chance, think about going to see it!!

I saw it earlier in the year. It’s fab, of the Busby Berkeley era.
They even managed the synchronised dancing, all done with mirrors.
Well worth a visit.

I haven't been as lucky to see this version as I am on benefits and cannot afford it, but I did see the original when it came over here in the 80's. Things were a lot cheaper than as well and I thought it magic. I saw it with Georgia Brown and also later on, shani Wallis did it. Strange co-incidence they were both in "Oliver!" as well. One in the stage version and one in the film, and they both played nancy. I used to have the vinyl of that, the broadway version tho; but not for many a year now and I don't think it is on C.D. Fortunately, I managed to hold on to the cassette tape before I moved
