felice
I think you've cracked it.
I think I love you.

I've googled and time and time again I've scrolled past Steve Backshall thinking "No that's not the programme, I'd remember his face".

I'm clearly delusional about my face recognition skills.

Yes yes. That was when it was on.

I watch catch up on my laptop as I haven't a television.
I saw bits of this on someone's television.

It is something like Exploring the Top of the World, it was on just a couple of weeks ago on BBC 2, around 18.00.
Arrggh that is going to really annoy me now, we do not have catch up for the BBC. Please post if you find it. Sorry not much help.

This programne was perhaps on BBC 2. Could anyone recognise it. The aim of the explorers was to enter areas and find undiscovered wildlife.

Did anyone see a programme where half the team of men were rock climbing a sheer cliff, holding on by fingertips. Sleeping suspended in mid air from the cliff by ropes in tiny tents.
The aim was to get to the untouched top and search for undiscovered wildlife and vegetation.
In previous years a helicopter had brought scientists to the top who failed in an attempt to explore.

The other half if the team were going by canoe through forest that was due to be cut for logging. The river banks were teaming with wildlife, parrots, giant otters etc.
It may have been Peru.
I'm trying to find it in catch up. Please helpsmile
