Paul Getty

In our house I’m a kind of passive viewer in that DH flicks through the various channels until he finds something he’d like to watch and if it’s not too gory I may come out from behind my book/sudoku/crossword to watch with him. I seem to have been having a bit of a TV binge this week and have watched All the Money in the World and Trust, both about the kidnapping of Paul Getty III. They gave very different accounts of what happened to the boy but both demonstrated perfectly the truth of the old adage that money can’t buy happiness. So very sad.
