I've recorded this, and was hesitant to do so, as during the last few I watched Timothy West annoyed me with his constant reminders of Prue's health. So I'm glad to hear that the new series is enjoyable.

I've just watched the programme of them in the Nile. Prue seemed find, but it was lovely to see the tender care all the Egyptians she met gave to her, holding her hand on uneven ground and gently helping her when it was needed, and just their whole attitude.

We did a similar journey about 10 years ago and we found all the Egyptians we met so kind and considerate. What a shame that life is so difficult life is for them now.

I agree. These programmes are lovely. Prue always seems perfectly fine to me. It will be interesting to see how she is in this latest one.

Surprised but delighted to see this wonderful series will be back tonight on Chanel 4 8pm.

Timothy West did say that they wouldn't do another one due to Pru's battle with Alzheimer's but apparently she talked him into it!

This time they're doing the Nile. They're a lovely couple and the programmes such gentle and beautiful entertainment.

A real treat.
