I like to read and always have a pile of books on the bedroom windowsill and cannot pass a bookshop without being tempted in! Just read Great Gatsby, am reading Blink and also The Trouble with Sheep & Goats.
However I enjoy film too. It's a completely different experience from reading a story! For the last couple of years have been a member of a local film society where films shown are not mainstream blockbuster types. It is usually such an interesting collection of films! 3 hours a fortnight ..plenty of time to read too!

I never go to the cinema nor watch films at home. I just don’t enjoy them and quickly lose interest. I much prefer something factual.
This is odd because I’ve been an avid reader all my life and always have a book on the go. I suppose I’ve missed a lot of really brilliant films (along with The Sound of Music and Titanic) but I’d always rather read the book.
