Anne has the trial tonight, I wish her well and hope she gets some stars.

My DGS is on the spectrum, he sometimes copes in social situations, sometimes just a complete meltdown. We find it easier for him if he has something to focus on, and yes that is when an iPhone or iPad are invaluable.

When Anne interacts in that quiz programme it is one to one and surely she chats in the camp but it isn’t showed

I don’t actually like this programme now, I did when it first came on but I think it’s so tired I could write the script myself I have popped in and out when there’s nothing else on
I think it’s ridiculous having Anne on there she can’t do any tasks and seems to do nothing Is she autistic or does she have the milder Asperger s it’s never been noticeable on The chase when she seems to interact with Bradley and the contestants I presume its her size that prevents her from doing the trials as much as anything she could hardly crawl in holes etc

I think Holly is working well with Dec on the bits I ve seen but I m aware I have missed a fair bit

I think Harry will win this. He does seem to be trying hard to be entertaing and a good camp mate. He claims he has never watched the programme but I’m not convinced. He seems to adore his wife of 54 years and I think he genuinely does as any past discretions would have come out of the woodwork now for their 15 minutes of fame.

, possibly wives, would agree that he is a lovely man but he is a good campmate so far which is what should matter.

Fleur is trying too hard to be cool and entertaining.

Rita and Emily are likeable and seem strong ladies.

Noel has been entertaining which is why he was brought in.

Anne has blended into the background somewhat in the last programmes, probably because she is excluded from the tasks.

Sair, James and Malique have also blended into the background.

John is trying hard but he is such a ‘lovey’.

I miss the Ant and Dec interactions very much, Holly squeals way too much.

Jalima, not me ,? nearest I get to a chat up line is my lovely Tesco delivery man who greets me with ‘ hello gorgeous ‘ , makes my day.

Lillin perhaps my opinion of Nick has been formed by the programme he fronts, DIY SOS, and the charity work he does.

I always find it funny the opinions we form about people we do not know, while bearing in mind that we do know that all television programmes are edited.
I like Nick because he has done a lot for others from what i have read over the years, not keen on John, preferred Harry at the start not so keen on his attitude now i think he has been too quick to separate himself and is not placing himself in his fellow campers shoes. I do wonder if this is the best programme for Anne but also how many of us would cope as well. Rita is not my cup of tea but is showing more understanding of others than any others and so i would pick her for my team.

I'd have thought the sensory overload would have been far too stressful for her. Trying to work out the social nuances of a situation is a big problem too.
Don't forget we only see edited highlights of 24 hours a day. We only see what the producers want us to see.

I could be so wrong , I know nothing of Autism but she seems to be trying to take in the chatter , rather like me when i use to visit my Anglesey family, no English allowed, I would hear the Welsh think in English and reply in Welsh , there would be pauses whilst the great aunts waited for my reply. Is it like this for people with autism?
It has been reported that people with autism are praising her for going in there .

I can only assume that her keen agent told her it would be fine and that she'd love it (and then pocketed his/her commission).

I'm watching because I always enjoy it. And am interested in Anne because I have an autistic grandson. But she is obviously struggling so I do question her decision to go into the jungle.

Why is Anne in there? Trial excused on medical grounds time and again.
I don’t dislike her and realise she struggles with her condition but she should not have been picked to enter the jungle if she can’t participate fairly.

I didn’t enjoy last night so much, Anne is troubling me, excused from trials again, think camera only showed her once and not one word from her.

I think he's sneaky. Not a fan. Harry's fun. I like Emily and Fleur and Rita for different reasons. James is a bit dull and Malique doesn't seem the sharpest tool in the box.
