Shtesil on Netflix

It sounds my kind of programme. I don’t mind subtitles at all, in fact I find I am having to switch on the function with some programmes because there is so much mumbling and indistinct speech.

I find no trouble reading subtitles bit some of the spellings are funny cheque/check.

It is a family drama about the lives of a large, extended family and their ordinary issues......old age, finding love, an upset teen, a frustrated bored man and so on. It is set in an Orthodox Jewish community. There is practically no violence or gore.

Oh and the music is lovely.

I thought I might like this, but the fact that it has subtitles put me off.
It's too much hard work to read the TV.
