That's nonsense...unless he wears gloves all that time, it's impossible.

I do believe in hand washing BUT I also believe that we're trying too hard to be germ free. It's a matter of common sense overall - not 'cleverness' in shouting that you don't wash your hands.

His colleagues made fun of him for eating a left-over pizza that had not been refrigerated. He claimed not to have washed his hands for ten years because germs are not real, as he couldn't see them. He thinks people are too fussy about hygeine.

Oh Lord ! Perish the thought.

Perhaps that applies to hands as well.

I suspect he means, specifically wash his hands other than them getting them wet and washed while having a shower, or swimming etc.

What does he do when he has a shower or bath , goes swimming or washes his hair.
Maybe wears waterproof gloves.
