I would be bloody furious! I would be doing what I could to get Woody Allen out of the picture & for my daughter to change her mind but I can never contemplate disowning my child.

Yes, very sad. But, blimey! Wasn't he a changed man at the end. (I know we all are, but it came as a bit of a shock)

so if your Husband left you to live with your adopted daughter you'd just accept and be fine with it? You're a better woman than me Pecs and I'm known to be easy going and open minded about most things .I dont think I would accept that though .

He did a great deal to bring classical music to the masses. Also a terrific jazz pianist. A great loss to the music world.

DH and I saw Mr Prevue(!) conduct and play the Gershwin Piano Concerto at the Festival Hall in the 90s - magic! RIP.

not sure if I'd have been happy about my daughter hooking up with her stepfather either Pecs A relationship like that would divide a lot of families .

The Morecambe and Wise clip still makes me laugh no matter how often I see it ,brilliant comedy and so unusual back then for stars to take part in the kind of self ridicule

Indeed..a great musician.. and a good sport too..able to laugh at himself.

Though disowned his daughter after she became involved with Woody Allen.
