I'm starting this new thread as apparently our other one was over a year old!! shock

We'll have to do more gossiping to prevent this happening again.

Here's a link to the old one.

Did Kate gallop in to see Lynda on one of Shula's horses?

Alishka Thu 02-Apr-20 17:45:39

You'd think that Jenny Dahling would have been broadcasting the news of Debbie's move from Hungary to Belgravia, wouldn't you?
Almost makes me feel this is all made up!wink

eGJ Thu 02-Apr-20 11:17:41

And she will be appearing on the National Theatre streaming live (and available for a week) on Thursday April 23 in Twelfth Night.

MawB Thu 02-Apr-20 08:53:39

Tamsin Greig who plays Debbie Aldridge also plays one of the central characters in “Belgravia” on Sunday nights.

Nana3 Thu 02-Apr-20 08:36:25

Debbie has moved to Belgravia? I missed that one.

LullyDully Thu 02-Apr-20 08:29:09

She has moved to Belgravia I think.

grumppa Thu 02-Apr-20 00:03:36

And there's Debbie Aldridge in Hungary.

It’s back to Carole Boyd according to next week’s Radio Times. ? let us hope Roy makes that visit to the hospital to see Blake!

silverlining48 Wed 01-Apr-20 15:26:44

I still wonder if its another actress, she just sounds a bit different to me. So if it is a replacement then they clearly intend to keep the Linda character going, to fight the next battle. She is certainly needed to sort out the latest drama and save Blake and the two other slave workers and of course poor Kirsty, who deserves better, much better.

katie1 Wed 01-Apr-20 12:41:07

I do hope you are all right. Maybe the story line is highlighting that when people are saved from life threatening situations, the survivor like Linda with disfigurements and a shadow of her former self, feel they have lost their gravitas ?

LullyDully Wed 01-Apr-20 11:59:59

She will rally I am sure, it's in her fighting nature. This is reflected by her need to talk to only her chosen few. It will all come to a head at some point.

merlotgran Tue 31-Mar-20 20:37:46

Maybe when Roy stops dithering and visits Blake he'll report back to Lynda who will instantly suss that all is not as it seems.

Nothing gets past her.

Focusing on her Miss Marple role to get to the truth, she'll soon be sending for Harrison.

Iam64 Tue 31-Mar-20 20:22:19

I don't think Linda will take her own life. She's traumatised but her underlying personality will remain. She's a problem solver and a positive thinker, plus Robert adores her so she's fair bit going for her. Plus, we need her to crack the Blake case, expose Philip and save Kirsty

eGJ Tue 31-Mar-20 20:14:09

Linda could reveal that Blake’s uncle is nothing of the sort! And Covd-19 is reducing it to merely four episodes.

GracesGranMK3 Tue 31-Mar-20 19:48:02

Or ... she could find out what's going on with Phillip and get her teeth into sorting it out.

I believe they will get coronavirus into the script in May.

katie1 Tue 31-Mar-20 18:59:01

Does anyone else think that Linda will take her own life or is planning to,because she can't bear to carry on with her changed appearance etc ? The way she was talking last night seemed to hint at it ? I do hope not ?

Iam64 Mon 30-Mar-20 14:13:57

Yes GG3,it's Kate, don't know where Elizabeth came from.
A friend was speaking to her adult granddaughter in Cape Town yesterday. She says they're confined to their homes, not even allowed out to walk.

GracesGranMK3 Sun 29-Mar-20 15:59:27

I had forgotten that Iam. I think it's Kate isn't it? Heaven knows what is happening there as we see so little outside Europe and the US.

Iam64 Sun 29-Mar-20 14:52:20

Elizabeth has two children in South Africa. If they're in Cape Town, it's total lock down I hear

GracesGranMK3 Sun 29-Mar-20 14:09:22

I heard it too Vegansrock. They were saying that they would be recording from home for those programmes. Lots of telephone calls and peoples thoughts apparently. Sounds like my life at the moment. They mustn't forget the Skyping - has anyone in the village got relatives abroad. Kenton has, hasn't he but anyone else?

vegansrock Sun 29-Mar-20 12:32:08

They've got enough episodes to last till the end of April, then they are going to have some episodes reflecting the virus situation. Heard on Radio 4 this morning.

LullyDully Sun 29-Mar-20 12:29:54

Why not give us " best of" like I suggested. Could be a great time to remember old characters.

Greeneyedgirl Sat 28-Mar-20 13:35:13

S t r e t c h i n g out their present recordings Franbern?

Franbern Sat 28-Mar-20 09:50:55

I also, waited at 7 pm for my daily shot last night.....why have they decided to drop down to five instead of six episodes?
