No mention of coronavirus on the Archers as far as I know. Perhaps they think we have all heard too much about it.

I think I am going to move to Ambridge as it would appear to be a CV-free zone.

There’s always a “baddie” in The Archers and they take it in turns -we’ve had Brian, Rob, (mind goes blank!) and now apparently Philip?

Perhaps this is all to make way for Roy and Kirsty to get together. Kirsty has been rather unlucky so far in her choices!

Are we to assume that Philip is a baddie, or is he just protecting Gavin?

Philip is not a good man, whether he is protecting Gavin or not.
Wonder how they will introduce the Covid Virus, they must be a few weeks behind when recording.

They are reducing the output to five a week, using already recorded episodes. Coronavirus May never reach Borsetshire.

If he isn't a baddie then he is very foolish. The truth will out. Poor Kirsty and just when a happy ending was in sight.

He is getting nastier and nastier. Kirsty needs a happy ending?

Well that was clear. He sounds like a gang master who exploits vulnerable people. What a shocker.

I had to turn tonight’s episode off. I can’t handle any more nastiness. Poor Kirsty, she deserves a happy outcome for once.

Oh no! I liked him too. Why must the script writers do this, it doesn't seem in character at all

His change in character has been far to rapid to be believed. Rob Titchener's was far more subtle and therefore more sinister. Philip sounds like a pantomime nasty.

This is a weakness in their attempt to be exciting. They fail to develop characters over a period of time so lose their motivation and any depth of character.
Oh dear.

No episode on Friday's. Well done that they are finding a way to keep going though.

I would have thought that being a radio show they would be able to record the parts individually from the actors' homes. Seems not.
I always felt that Kirstie was not really in love with Philip. I hope she leaves him before boing even more hurt.

Emma and Ed should be together and yes, LullyDully, I believe they will reconcile. They love their children, are close to each others extended families and are currently getting on well. Let's not have every couple in the village separated.

I could never see Kirsty and Phillip as a couple. He's never been right for her and these boring types sometimes do successfully hide the sinister side of their personalities. Phew, what a baddy. Kirsty and Roy 4eva
