I'm starting this new thread as apparently our other one was over a year old!! shock

We'll have to do more gossiping to prevent this happening again.

Here's a link to the old one.

The good residents of Ambridge clearly weren't watching Boris on the News this evening.

'What social isolating?'

Where's my invitation to Kirsty and Philip's wedding party?

Scribbles Sun 15-Mar-20 19:51:49

Awwwww! Pass the Kleenex, please.

phoenix Sat 14-Mar-20 19:42:36

The moonlighting mare!

eGJ Sat 14-Mar-20 19:01:54

I wonder if they will be watching Belgravia tomorrow night and discover a Debbie isn’t in Hungary after all?

Greeneyedgirl Sat 14-Mar-20 13:43:16

Yes I thought that Luckygirl I don't know how far in advance it's recorded, but no doubt they'll turn it into a public safety broadcast when they catch up. I wonder if Kate will have some daft herbal remedies for the virus. Watch this space.

I suppose blowing up Grey Gables is easier than having to put loads of precautions in place. They won't have to worry about cancelled bookings costing them money because Philip's insurance will cough up.

Presuming he's adequately insured. Otherwise it will be another boring Home Farm scenario.

Is the Laurels (or whatever it's called) in lockdown?

Luckygirl Sat 14-Mar-20 12:31:19

I think I am going to move to Ambridge - no coronavirus there, nor any mention of it in the wider world.

eGJ Thu 12-Mar-20 19:21:45

You got there before me phoenix so good to hear Lilian like that and her humour in the need for them to continue their battles!

phoenix Thu 12-Mar-20 19:17:36

Very good piece by Lillian tonight! Great acting and script writing.

merlotgran Wed 11-Mar-20 12:49:34

I think Lilian, Joelene and Kenton will be so upset they'll put the Bull's sign back up.

Alishka Wed 11-Mar-20 12:23:50

Oh, not Lindy!shock
La Snell is too valuable a character to Off her! She, and her sniff, will be reorganising the IC Unit in no timegrin

I sneaked a peek into next week's Radio Times in Asda this morning before buying my cheaper TV mag which doesn't include radio. Lynda's name was not included in the cast list, but Gavin and Robert's names were. Of course she may remain unconscious for a while rather than dead!

Greeneyedgirl Tue 10-Mar-20 11:42:52

I didn't realise how much I liked Lynda til now. I think she may still be clinging on because the continuity announcer would surely not have let the cat out of the bag?

shysal Mon 09-Mar-20 20:05:15

Ooh er! I would miss Lynda!

LullyDully Mon 09-Mar-20 19:43:54

No, not bad news for Robert, please.

Scribbles Mon 09-Mar-20 19:20:03

Phew! It's a long time since I've been gripped like that!

Newquay Mon 09-Mar-20 19:18:38

Whew! What an episode!!

merlotgran Mon 09-Mar-20 19:18:29

Oh No!

They can't kill off Lynda! shock

eGJ Mon 09-Mar-20 19:16:31

What an episode. No spoilers!

eGJ Mon 09-Mar-20 18:46:43

There is a Doctor in the cast list in the RT, but no Gav! Aah, must not miss it?

Greeneyedgirl Mon 09-Mar-20 18:22:09

?? We've got to listen tonight.

merlotgran Wed 04-Mar-20 19:44:53

It's pretty obvious where Tom's lost ring storyline is going isn't it?

merlotgran Tue 03-Mar-20 19:32:50

I know the episodes are recorded a few weeks earlier but I'm surprised they haven't slotted in a reference to Coronavirus. Like in all communities it would be a topic of conversation.

I wonder who will be the elderly victim.

Auntie Chris? Peggy? Carol Tregorran? Bert Fry?

LullyDully Thu 27-Feb-20 19:09:32

At least we know what happened to Joe.

The Silent are confined to a cupboard at the bbc. I wish they’d make a bid for freedom
