Oh wow! I have gone back to episode one and it is so good, so relevant.

tanith Fri 26-Apr-19 09:24:57

I read there is a sixth series possible Charleygirl5

Charleygirl5 Fri 26-Apr-19 09:21:38

This Sunday is the second last- will there be another series?

Callistemon I belive that Lisa is also an UCO, she was so upset when John was killed, i expect she is worrying for herself now incase she gets discovered too. Can't wait to find out the answers to all our questions. smile

kittylester Fri 26-Apr-19 06:16:16

It cant be Kate - she does lots of good work for the Alzheimers Society- or is that just in real life! confused

Callistemon Thu 25-Apr-19 23:02:07

I am getting lost with this thread so there is no hope for me watching Line of Duty!

Callistemon Thu 25-Apr-19 23:00:46

I also still believe Lisa is Ted's deep UCO in the OCG. That or M15.
Yes, definitely (definately)

Iam64 Thu 25-Apr-19 20:00:28

I've given up on H as a clue, other than as some kind of nick name for either an organisation and its key personnel, or a Thoroughly Bad Egg who fronts such an organisation.

Who'd believe Dot Cotton anyway, even on his death bed. I know we suspend belief but not totally.

Maggiemaybe - it isn't Ted, it can't be Ted. I'm not even driven to foot stamping or petulant behaviour. IT ISN'T TED - RIGHT!!!

Maggiemaybe Thu 25-Apr-19 19:50:35

It isn’t Ted, it can’t be Ted (stamps foot and pouts petulantly). And definitely not Kate, who’s a 100% good egg. Who’s left? The Detective Chief Constable Ted keeps consulting, or the new Chief Super arriving next week (Anna Maxwell Martin - love her!)? Unfortunately they haven’t an H between them. hmm

I’m rooting for Pittcity’s theory about flat H. I watched part of the episode again when DH was catching up, and the camera definitely lingered meaningfully over the letter B on Terry’s door....

Iam64 Thu 25-Apr-19 18:59:59

Nah Charleygirl5 ( and other Doubting Thomasinas) it definately (see) isn't Ted. Ted is a Good Guy.

I suspect Big Giggelow (ak as Gill Biggleoe). of being a thoroughly Bad Lot who for some nefarious reason was after Ted's DNA so he could be framed then blackmailed.

I also still believe Lisa is Ted's deep UCO in the OCG. That or M15.

I can't believe Kate Fleming is H. She isn't senior enough in the Police to be H.

Charleygirl5 Thu 25-Apr-19 18:09:27

I hope that Ted does not turn out to be Hastings but he is looking increasingly shifty with his actions.

Gonegirl Thu 25-Apr-19 16:38:19

That's it namsnanny! She's a lawyer.

humptydumpty Thu 25-Apr-19 14:06:01

Hmmm - I don't want to believe it's Hastings either but...

Callistemon Thu 25-Apr-19 13:48:00

I am trying to work out a convoluted connection between the letter H and Gill Biggeloe
Billy Biggelow, Carousel, Oscar Hammerstein?

Perhaps not.

Namsnanny Wed 24-Apr-19 23:04:35

Gonegirl…. Her name is Gill Biggeloe, good theory!! smile

Gonegirl Wed 24-Apr-19 23:01:06

Hastings! That's who I meant by what'isname.

I don't think it's him though.

Grannyrebel27 Wed 24-Apr-19 22:51:08

Who is H? If it turns out to be Hastings I'll lose all faith in humanity!

Gonegirl Wed 24-Apr-19 22:49:30

I think H is that woman who what'isname has been having it off with.

Gonegirl Wed 24-Apr-19 22:47:02

Son, who usually explains things to me (not just tv progs either) won't explain this because he says it's just too ridiculous.

I think that's really mean. Sigh.

oldgimmer1 Wed 24-Apr-19 22:43:45

I'm surprised Steve wasn't disciplined for insubordination. Wee g..s..e indeed!

Joyfulnanna Wed 24-Apr-19 20:04:10

I couldn't watch it if I couldn't follow it..it's the highlight of my week.

kittylester Wed 24-Apr-19 15:18:58

They have to keep the quotient up!

Callistemon Wed 24-Apr-19 15:17:07

Of course, if Steve had arrested John, John would not now be dead.
Little gobsh**e indeed.

Iam64 Wed 24-Apr-19 07:41:53

He's fibbing cornergran.

cornergran Wed 24-Apr-19 07:40:06

Me too kitty. Mr C says he totally understands but won’t explain as it would spoil it for me. Hmm, do I believe him? Nope! grin.

Iam64 Wed 24-Apr-19 07:39:50

kittylester - I'm with you, often bewildered about what's going on and who the new characters, who turn out to be from earlier series are. I love Ted and the way his one liners have become legend. I loved his muttered "little gob sh**e" directed at Steve when he disobeyed Ted's order to arrest John. Fantastic stuff.
