Tonight on BBC4 9 pm
Wonderful, uplifting , inspirational and moving.

I remember my FIL speaking of the amazing bravery of Piper Bil Millin piping the commandoes up the Normandy beaches on D-Day to the tune of “Blue Bonnets” - and coming through unscathed

Fantastic programme. The bravery of those Pipers throughout the ages was beyond belief! Immense respect and pride.
