Next weeks schedule

Wimbledon is one of the few things I watch on the Beeb, so I'm looking forward to it.
Not seen any BBC sports channels either, do you mean BT sports GrannyGravy?

I've never come across them, gg and I think someone in my soortsmad family would have done.

BBC has sports channels but I believe they are pay per view.

Oh I dread Wimbledon fortnight, have to turn it off, especially when the grunting starts........

Don't watch much TV but can sympathise with those dreading Wimbledon. I agree it doesn't make sense for it to be on both BBC1 and BBC2 at the same time (assume they are showing different matches?)

I used to like watching it years ago when there were no tie breakers and great players such as Ken Rosewall and Rod Laver. It’s not the same now with all the grunting and tantrums. DH loves it though so I have to retreat to the other television.

I enjoy watching most but not all sports but I could not agree more, the same should not be shown on two channels and the BBC should have its own sports channel.

I hate sports! I wish I didn't as there is so much of it but I JUST DON'T CARE who can run/drive/ride/swim, etc. faster, or score higher! I really don't!

PS I don't know if you've noticed it but there's a hilarious little film of Judy Murray talking about her third son. It's a spoof but very well done with a straight face : Disappointing Duncan I think it's called.

There seem to be several sports channels. Don't know why BBC needs to give such massive coverage to it.

What I dont understand is why the bbc doesn't have a dedicated sports channel.

I’m not a tennis fan, but barely register the TV coverage these days. There are so many channels (and we only have Freeview). Plus the fact that at any given time I have at least a fortnight’s worth of stuff I’ve recorded and really must watch.

I'm not remotely interested in Wimbledon or any sport for that matter. Someone gave us free tickets for Wimbledon many years ago. I spent my time there people watching. The tennis was a bore.

Sympathies but - favourite fortnight of the year!! - plenty of other channels, after all..
