If anyone is looking for a good drama to watch back to back..

Saw it years ago, I know I enjoyed it, I think I'd read a lot of her books by then..........and then she died, a while back but she was well into her '90s. She only took up writing in the latter part of her life, her own life was quite fascinating but I've forgotten why.

Terribull I loved her first book, Jumping The Queue, and this one is good, but I think her books sent downhill after that.

I remember reading Mary Wesley years ago, I imagine it does really date.
I've discovered recently that after a lifetime of avoiding period drama I actually quite like it. Currently watching Downton for the first time and Heartbeat.

Sorry you can't find it on the tv seacliff. You want 'players and apps', then channel 4. Then 'categories'. 'Dramas' then scroll down the little squares in rows that come up. Keep going down.

Oh now I think I understand - my TV is not at all smart so I don't see such things as apps and players. Just old fashioned normal Sky.

I have searched under name of programme and been into C4 catchup Drama but sadly not there.

I am considering a smart TV so this might be another reason to get one. Thanks for trying to help.

If you enjoy period drama try Cider with Rosie on prime. June Whitfield and Annette Crosbie are brilliant as two old crones. It is gentle, rustic and the scenery is beautiful. I believe it is based on the true life of Laurie Lee who is one of the stars in the drama. Perfect for a wet afternoon viewing. Enjoy!!

I have just watched In the Dark on BBC catchup I found it qute by accident and spent 4 good hours watching it over the week-end.

That looks good Glamma. Another one for when there's only rubbish on tv.

My favourite series from way back was Love for Lydia; I'd love to rewatch that.
