Seeing as we're all staying in a little lot more, we'd imagine the telly is getting a fair amount of attention. If you want to chat about whatever you're watching while it's on (or the next day) please do check our Telly forum topic and join in if there's already a conversation running. If not, why not start one? There's almost certainly someone else on here who's watching alongside you and would love the opportunity to dissect the plot/suggest whodunnit/debate actor's suitability to role/just want to say they love or hate it. grin

Adventures of the Wilderness family on Prime. Based on a true story. Pure escapism. Beautiful scenery and quite enchanting. smile

Watching Devon and Cornwall on 5

Marmight Mon 29-Jun-20 21:26:23

And now a very depressing & disturbing documentary about a frontline Dr battling Coronavirus in Italy. Horrible ....

merlotgran Mon 29-Jun-20 21:46:53

Can't watch programmes like that now, Marmight. I want to look forward to the days when things improve to something better than they are at the moment.

I will watch Foyle at 10pm on ITV3. Another late night but it's not as though there's something important to get up for in the morning. Just more Lockdown news and the same old same old stuff on Breakfast TV.

Just watched 4 x 1 hour long episodes of Hilliary on Now TV. (I like to binge watch) Really enlightening if you're interested in American politics. Very candid documentary, lots of off camera pieces and an actual eye opener for me. Hillary Clinton dammed if she does dammed if she doesnt.

Callistemon. Wasn't the fleece on those sheep amazing. Hope you find a supplier!

I've been viewing an eclectic mix of programmes at the moment, last night we watched a nice English film on BBCIplayer, "Beautiful Fantastic" which featured among others, the delectable "hot priest" Irish actor, Andrew Scott. Other than that a few episodes of Amazon Prime's "This is Us" still a bit soppy imo, but will stick with it, I like my American dramas gritty, probably because we've been binging on "The Sopranos" and "Nurse Jackie" of late. Also keeping up with "I May Destroy You" on Mondays, which takes gritty to a whole new level, not for the faint hearted. Caught up with some Glastonbury too love Adele smile

Namsnanny Wed 01-Jul-20 12:49:20

Rosalyn69 ... glad you mentioned cardinal, I've got the last episode to catch up with!!
Watching 2 episodes of Canadian police drama 19.2. Per evening.
It's on late so we record it then watch it the next day.
I cant recommend it though chiefly because the mix up the episodes so the dont run concurrently!!!
We remember the back story so can piece together what's happening.

Absolutely love Ben Fogle in the wild and programme too! He is such a great presenter and shows such great qualities and such empathy and understanding! Great legs too ?

I think I'd be frightened of making a mess of knitting it.
I bought some lovely local wool when I was in Tasmania but so far haven't knitted it; only enough for a hat as it was so expensive.

The Devon Longwool is available but needs spinning

Celebrity Masterchef is back tonight. DH loves it so that's probably what we'll watch.

Callistemon Wed 01-Jul-20 19:55:29

DH can't stand 'cookery progranmmes'!

Eloethan Wed 01-Jul-20 23:49:02

I watched Celebrity Masterchef (which I don't usually watch but I enjoyed it).

I'd also recorded Marvellous which I've just finished watching. Thank you to the Gransnetter (can't remember who) who recommended it some time ago. It was so funny and touching. A really lovely, uplifting programme.
