What are you watching tonight?

I watched Celebrity Masterchef (which I don't usually watch but I enjoyed it).

I'd also recorded Marvellous which I've just finished watching. Thank you to the Gransnetter (can't remember who) who recommended it some time ago. It was so funny and touching. A really lovely, uplifting programme.

DH can't stand 'cookery progranmmes'!

Celebrity Masterchef is back tonight. DH loves it so that's probably what we'll watch.

I think I'd be frightened of making a mess of knitting it.
I bought some lovely local wool when I was in Tasmania but so far haven't knitted it; only enough for a hat as it was so expensive.

Watching 2 episodes of Canadian police drama 19.2. Per evening.
It's on late so we record it then watch it the next day.
I cant recommend it though chiefly because the mix up the episodes so the dont run concurrently!!!
We remember the back story so can piece together what's happening.

I've been viewing an eclectic mix of programmes at the moment, last night we watched a nice English film on BBCIplayer, "Beautiful Fantastic" which featured among others, the delectable "hot priest" Irish actor, Andrew Scott. Other than that a few episodes of Amazon Prime's "This is Us" still a bit soppy imo, but will stick with it, I like my American dramas gritty, probably because we've been binging on "The Sopranos" and "Nurse Jackie" of late. Also keeping up with "I May Destroy You" on Mondays, which takes gritty to a whole new level, not for the faint hearted. Caught up with some Glastonbury too love Adele

watching another of my dvds .i got no tv with a digital ouput(no tv licence needed). my brother puts anything i want on dvd to watch. still watching the end of spring watch..then walking with elephants/then crimebeat...

Just watched 4 x 1 hour long episodes of Hilliary on Now TV. (I like to binge watch) Really enlightening if you're interested in American politics. Very candid documentary, lots of off camera pieces and an actual eye opener for me. Hillary Clinton dammed if she does dammed if she doesnt.

Can't watch programmes like that now, Marmight. I want to look forward to the days when things improve to something better than they are at the moment.

I will watch Foyle at 10pm on ITV3. Another late night but it's not as though there's something important to get up for in the morning. Just more Lockdown news and the same old same old stuff on Breakfast TV.

And now a very depressing & disturbing documentary about a frontline Dr battling Coronavirus in Italy. Horrible ....

Adventures of the Wilderness family on Prime. Based on a true story. Pure escapism. Beautiful scenery and quite enchanting.

We stumbled on This Beautiful Fantastic by chance.Quirky and heartwarming,and beautifully filmed.Looked it up and it was written and directed by Paul Mcartney's SIL.Perfect for a wet Sunday afternoon.

I also watched This Beautiful Fantastic on iPlayer. A lovely easy to watch film - no sex or violence. Just a bit out of this world ....heartily recommend
