yggdrasil thank you SO much, re:TheLast Leg. It was great, wasn't it?

Alima I have thought for a long time that HIGNFY has gone downhill, so never bother watching it any more.

The Last Leg? Off to look out for that on catch up,completely missed it. Really don't like wimpy Josh Widdecome tho...

Alima the male guest was blind. It must have been very hard for him and he did his best to join in under the circumstances

For the first time this week I was watching HIGNFY wondering why do I bother anymore. Particularly unfunny, don’t think David Tennant was to blame. Don’t know the name of the male guest but he thought whatever he said was very amusing though I couldn’t see why. The female guest contributed very little but even so Ian Hislop seemed to think the whole programme was an absolute hoot. Beginning to think he has been on the pop when he takes part in the programme from home. Yes, they are trying under very difficult circumstances but the whole thing is now becoming very trying.

HIGNFY is a favourite in our house, but it took a while to get used to new format.
Not keen on David T’s presentation or hair, but we like Steph McGovern, Stephen Mangan, and Jo Brand to name a few who have fronted it in recent months.

It is difficult when there are only 3 people in their own houses to laugh at the jokes. There seems to be a bit of a lag.
Now The Last Leg, (last night) had four cameras, in London, Huddersfield, and Melbourne. And one other for each of three guests, the jokes caused the right reactions at the right time, and it was a lot slicker than HIGNFY

Its not as good as when they are in the studio but I still enjoy it. It's a favourite programme. Can't be easy doing it this way.

I'm still enjoying it too but I think the previous two weeks were better.

Furret Fri 08-May-20 21:47:30

David Tennant was dire as host. Romesh Ranganathan was much better last week.

I do seem to be in a minority but I'm enjoying it. I quite like watching swapping silly jokes, and Ian Hislop's cat is lovely.

tanith Fri 08-May-20 14:19:42

I turned it off after 5 mins I agree it was dire.

Didn't you see him doing a sketch on that Comic relief night with Catherine Tate? He was wearing a hairband!

aggie Fri 08-May-20 10:46:39

Most of us are having problems with our hair !
I thought the programme was dire , his hair was the least of it !

Luckygirl Fri 08-May-20 10:44:44

What has David Tennant done to his hair!!????
