I was late to the party last night but loved David Bowie. But I couldn’t help feeling sad as well ... ?

My daughter loved him, and my older grandson does, too.

One of my sons fav.

I would never have thought an act like Ed Sheeran's could close Glastonbury but he has such presence and the crowds love him and know all his songs. Nothing like a good sing song at the end of the day.

I'll look up High Flying Birds, too.

His music is quite "folksy" sounding. It's lovely and lilting.

It's so easy to let 'newer younger' artist pass you by, especially if there are no 'young' people to introduce you to them.

Lots of brilliant talented musicians out there, and they're all having a pretty bad time of it as they can't play live!

I cant wait until I can catch up with some of them.

I've always liked him. He's a local (ish) lad and so talented.

I'm surprised: I've always been dismissive of him. Something else I've learnt.

I don't 'get' Ed Sheeran at all. My daughters saw him at Wembley and were fairly underwhelmed, not that they were fans particularly but I do think he's better on recordings than as a live act. It's Sky Arts for me now, Noel Gallagher and High Flying Birds from the Isle of Wight. I should have been seeing them at Thetford 10 days ago

Thinking of my lovely DGS3 who looks just like him and is now living in Northern Ireland.

Castle on the Hill makes me cry because we all love Framlingham.
