We're making some noise!

Come and join us. No wellies required. Bring your own wine.

We thought we'd better stop hogging the 'What are you watching tonight?' thread. grin

I watched PJ Harvey and Adele last night. Will tune in again for Dolly.

merlotgran Sun 28-Jun-20 21:35:49

Adele was brilliant!

MissAdventure Sun 28-Jun-20 21:38:50

I didn't watch Adele. I couldn't quite do it.

I'd like my hair like Bowie's.

Callistemon Sun 28-Jun-20 21:39:27

Perhaps my hair could become like David Bowies's?

merlotgran Sun 28-Jun-20 21:40:02

Mine looks like that after three and a half months of self isolating. grin

MissAdventure Sun 28-Jun-20 21:40:23

He has a great voice, still.

Callistemon Sun 28-Jun-20 21:40:56

DH: "why is he wearing his dressing gown?"

He obviously missed Lady Gaga grin

MissAdventure Sun 28-Jun-20 21:42:25

I like Bowie's older stuff, really. I do hope he'll do a couple. smile

merlotgran Sun 28-Jun-20 21:42:41

I'm sure I once had some curtains in that material.

Puzzler61 Sun 28-Jun-20 21:43:06

My mum had curtains like Bowie’s jacket ?

Callistemon Sun 28-Jun-20 21:43:36

Me too.

It was 20 years ago!

Puzzler61 Sun 28-Jun-20 21:43:51

Ha ha x’d posts!

MissAdventure Sun 28-Jun-20 21:44:50

Are we all psychically connected by the magic of Glastonbury?
We keep all having the same thoughts.

Callistemon Sun 28-Jun-20 21:45:00

I should add that no-one in our family has ever owned a dressing gown like that.

merlotgran Sun 28-Jun-20 21:45:04

They cost a fortune! grin

Puzzler61 Sun 28-Jun-20 21:47:01

The great DB - a talent who left this life too soon. Same goes for George Michael.

merlotgran Sun 28-Jun-20 21:47:02

That's spooky, MissA grin

Callistemon Sun 28-Jun-20 21:47:08

Still a popular pattern, looking at my curtains

Chewbacca Sun 28-Jun-20 21:48:11

How come Jo Whiley looks as fabulous now, at 56, as she did at 36? She looks amazing!

MissAdventure Sun 28-Jun-20 21:48:40

He still has "it" by the spadeful. Even if spadeful isn't a word.

Callistemon Sun 28-Jun-20 21:48:55

56? shock

Callistemon Sun 28-Jun-20 21:50:36

I am always in awe of the other musicians and backing singers who may have better voices than a star.

Kate1949 Sun 28-Jun-20 21:51:00

We watched Adele the first time around and again last night. Wasn't she great?

Lyndylou Sun 28-Jun-20 21:51:33

I think the Glastonbury programmes have been great. All credit to BBC. Even Johnny Walker had a made up 1977 Glastonbury on Radio 2 this afternoon which was a great background for the ironing. Adele was great last night and of course my favourites the Stones and Springsteen. Been to see Springsteen 8 times now and the Stones twice. No Surrender last night with the guy from the audience was fantastic fun.
