I watched the first episode of this Danish crime drama on iPlayer yesterday and it looked very good. Mainly sub titles although occasionally the characters speak in English.

Loving this series. Didn’t really understand why he took his daughter on the ferry rather than asking his friends wife to look after her. Yes the nuns are really scary.

He took the baby with him otherwise there would not have been his personal involvement in the plot ?. IMO the plot would have been better if he’d asked a neighbour to look after the baby.

8 episodes in all - 2 more to go.

I think the characters, the storyline and acting in DNA are very good indeed. It is harrowing though. I was going to give it a miss because anything that involves children in peril, I usually avoid like the plague. Sometimes I think you just have to suspend your disbelief at some of the scenes otherwise they’d never be a story. The first episode certainly implied a rather lax take on parenting.

Watched the last episode last night and thoroughly enjoyed it
A really good story line that wasn’t too hard to follow although there were flash backs but it was a deep sad story with very good acting
Such a sad but realistic ending with no winners

Loved the ending. Think I'm getting a thing for Nordic policemen Wallander, Martin Rohde in the Bridge, now Rolf in DNA
It was good to see Charlotte Rampling again.

Another excellent Nordic Noir series, even the Danish husband watched it! I thought it had the perfect ending ... Rolf looked so happy at meeting his daughter finally.

Very sad ending, the Danish actor who played father of the missing baby daughter evoked that sadness very well. The little girl cast as the five year old at the end had an incredible likeness to his ex wife, the mother. It was a good series worth watching. Lets hope the snippets shown from the new one "Valhalla" starting next week will also prove to be as good.

Thoroughly enjoyed this , agree with Bluebelle realistic ending and no winners, thought Charlotte Rampling was very good in it

I watched it too and thoroughly enjoyed it , the best thing I've seen for a while . It was advertised as Series 1 so does that mean that there might be a 2 ?

??I hope so tired

Yes, the little girl did look very much like the actress who played his wife .... maybe she was her daughter in real life.

I enjoyed it.
