What was your favourite childhood tv programme?

I loved the Black Beauty tv series and remember galloping around the garden singing the theme tune! Also enjoyed Follyfoot, The Sullivans and The Cedar Tree.

We didn’t have a tv till I d left home and until my Nan and granddad got one about when I was about 16 I never knew anyone with one but then at 16 it was round Nans to watch Bonanza and wrestling in saturdays with my grandad and palladium and whats my line on Sunday’s

Didn’t have TV until I was 11. Robin Hood and the Lone Ranger were favourites, ditto Rawhide and Bonanza.

Rawhide. I was in my teens when that was on. I really liked Clint Eastwood. No TV till I was around 7.

I didn’t like Picture Book ( Mondays) or Rag, Tag, and Bobtail ( Thursdays) Later I liked Ivanhoe and Sir Lancelot, Lassie, Dr. Kildare, then Ben Casey.
I don’t remember many children’s programmes in the 50s.

Am I the only one who loved Muffin the Mule?
and I Love Lucy was a favourite Sunday night! watched on a 9" black and white tv when I was about 6 or 7 at my aunt's house.
We didn't have a tv until I was 11 and my favourite radio programme was Journey into Space!
Those were the days!!!

We didn't have a TV until I was 15 but I enjoyed Charlie Chaplin at Saturday morning kids cinema. When I had my own children, we liked Magic Roundabout and Tom and Jerry. Still love the latter.

as a teenager The Man From Uncle. We introduced their communication oddities to our typing class, we'd use the rulers to 'communicate ' with each other. We had to make our own entertainment in those happy days x
