I’ve never actually seen the footage of his death before. I can’t believe what I’ve just seen. Thank goodness for that verdict. And thank goodness someone filmed it.

Good job Minnesota doesn’t have the death penalty too. That’s the next thing that needs to go in other states.

Have just watched Chauvin as the verdicts were read out, his eyes, I just found his whole demeanour really chilling....

It seemed wrong having the eyes of the world on him as the verdict was announced: I felt uncomfortable with that. Until I watched the footage of what he had done that is.

I felt grateful for those young people who filmed it, and the people who tried to intervene. That was brave.

I can’t believe that the poor mans first reaction to the police was ‘don’t shoot me’. Can’t imagine a society where someone would think that someone was going to do that.
