I'd missed that Tim was referred to hospital. Honestly, I watch it without fail, but don't pay attention ?. I hope he's ok. Usually soap storylines about health are basically public information to remind people to get check ups and so on, so with luck it will be something like that.

not realistic for so many of them eating in roy's cafe when they live up the road....we don't want the cafe to go bust and so lose 'roy' do we though.

Not content with getting his Well Man Checkup immediately, Doctor Gaddas managed to get Tim an appointment with a cardiac consultant the next day, the same one as Curtis saw, no less. No long waiting list in Corrie land. And good old Nurse Aggie just happened to be on duty in the vicinity. She’ll never be able to keep her mouth shut.

There are a lot of people getting killed in Corrieland at the moment. There was Seb a while back, then the wicked Asian man who's daughter was married to Zeedan, and now we have Ted dying on Emma and Faye. Perhaps Adam is going to kill Lydia next, then Sarah will leave him and go off with Imran who will shortly be in big trouble if Abi is pregnant (I've lost track of if she is or not) and Toyah will probably run off with Tyrone's granddad who suddenly puts in an appearance when Evelyn becomes homeless because Fiz is shacked up with Phil in a field.

I was yelling at the TV at that ridiculous scene on New Year's Eve, where Tim was holding his coat in front of Sally while she was urinating in the little park.

Never ever in a month of Sundays would Sally Metcalfe have done that. Her house is only a hop, skip and a jump away from The Rovers, so there's no possible reason for her to do that.

Lydia reminds me very much of Nina somehow, without the goth clothes and make up. Her mannerisms are very similar.

I’m not suggesting she’s a long-lost sister or anything, just that she has perhaps modelled her acting on Nina’s.

As an aside, there is no way Sarah and Adam should be planning a baby, the way their relationship is. Glad at least Sarah seems to realise that also.

I don’t know why Sarah wants another baby when she hardly sees the one she’s got - she’s always in the pub or Bistro.

I wondered that too, Kandinsky. I couldn't figure out why he'd have one in his wallet. Why would he even need one at all? Surely Sally is past the menopause by now? I'm not really sure how old Sally is, but I don't think she's in her fertile phase!

Maybe they're going down the visiting prostitutes route for Tim? Which in itself seems ridiculous. He and Sally seem quite happy together, and there's been no hint about marital disharmony between them

I suspect the pregnancy will proceed in the usual soap style and produce plenty of drama. Does anyone ever have a normal pregnancy in soapland? I think she’ll have a miscarriage after being rushed to hospital leaving Kevin heartbroken and Imran relieved. Due to the tendency most of them in Corrie have to discuss secrets and deeply personal business in a very loud voice in the street/pub/cafe/gardens, while the last person they want to know is a few yards away, the secret will find its way out.

Well, story lines are getting more and more silly. This one regarding Ted and Emma and Faye. All they had needed to say, when they found him dead was that that they had kindly, helped him home when he fallen near to them, etc. etc. Where on earth did those two pairs of marigolds suddenly materialise from?
Not sure / or care who is/ is not pregnant by whom any longer. Come on Corrie.....you can do better than this.

Now they have found Ted and noticed bruising on him they are treating his death as suspicious. That will mean a thorough investigation of his flat where they will very likely find Faye's false nail and once that's tested they will have a link to her as she is known to the police. What has Emma done with Ted's crutch? Had to make sure I spelt that correctly.

Well the big C is over, I'm taking down the trimmings and my predictions for the big Christmas/New Year stories didnt exactly materialise did they?

Seems the hole has been forgotten about, for now.

Some anomalies that I've come across lately are,
When did Tyrone buy that flat? When did it get decorated and why in such a female style, if he owns it?
Why isnt David/Gails house condemned?
Why does Tim have a condom in his wallet if him and Sally are so happily married?
And is Dr. Gaddas gay, as I thought I heard Tim ask after her wife?
Anyway, as its on in a few mins perhaps I will get some answers soon.
