Not giving anything away if I say the main character gets amnesia after a car accident in the Australian outback. We don't know his name either.
Just wondered if anyone else thought his accent changes from Scottish to Northern Irish? Maybe just bad acting.

I saw the first Tourist series and liked it but the new one ie the 2 series of the Tourist is a bit DOH .... and the female police person just gets on my nerves !!! she is so dithery and needy ... and I'm not sure the relationship between them ...

I really love DS Ruari. Such an expressive face and you'd really feel sorry for him when he gets upset.

Is that the weird little Irish detective Supernana Sorry think he s a strange wimpy little thing

Wouldn't mind but it's been on before, so not new.

Just started the second series and it's still strange. I hope the continuity improves on the 2nd series as the first left a lot to be desired.

Well yes, it’s been on before.

This is the second series.

I enjoyed the first series but after watching the first episode of this series I switched off, I found it to comical to be a serious drama.

Jaxjacky Sun 07-Jan-24 21:59:47

Weird, but most enjoyable.

Hi everyone, I will be honest I have not read all of the replies on here, but we have just binged watched series 1 and enjoyed it, but the pictures were so dark that we could barely see anything. It is just us or did other people think the same thing. Apologies if this question had already been asked.

Not as good as the first series. Bit mad.

BlueBelle Mon 08-Jan-24 20:20:12

I m not enjoying it the same as I did the first series I m finding it very very weird

Parsley3 Tue 09-Jan-24 09:23:57

I have abandoned the second series. It has a weird overload and I can't be bothered with it.

Jaxjacky Tue 09-Jan-24 09:53:23

No problem with that here zany.

henetha Tue 09-Jan-24 10:02:12

It's not as good as the first series but I still like it despite the weirdness.

BigBertha1 Tue 09-Jan-24 10:11:22

I'm quite enjoying this second series but it hasn't got the impact of the first we sort of expect him to get into a scrape in every episode. He is so easy on the eye I keep looking. Apparently he started out ads a model before acting and now has some lucrative contracts. I didn't see 50 shades as the books were so awful but I can imaging him .....

Lovetopaint037 Tue 09-Jan-24 10:26:23

The second series has turned into a black comedy. We have found it entertaining and quite mad. One more episode tonight. I think the lovely chubby actress has put on more weight since the first series. Maybe she was told to do so.

Calendargirl Mon 15-Jan-24 20:30:27

I’ll stick with it to the end, but not enamoured with this second series.

Far fetched is an understatement.

icanhandthemback Fri 19-Jan-24 01:38:14

I loved it. It was different from the first series which was much more serious but I loved the black humour.

BlueBelle Fri 19-Jan-24 04:54:56

I ve lost it ….so so disappointed I was really looking forward to this and I ve lost it, much too weird and silly for me
Maybe if it had been a stand alone it would not be so bad but I expected it to continue the story already started, not turn into some strange dark comedy

MayBee70 Fri 19-Jan-24 19:57:53

I haven’t started it yet but I will do when I have time. I loved the first series though but felt it should have remained a one off with a good ending, not one that just paved the way for another series.
