Just read a review from the Guardian which says that Becky's mother does have early-onset dementia so that's cleared up. Also as an aside, the real-life father of Livia's children is JB Gill of JLS fame!

We watched it, no problem with mumbling, but it did stretch credibility even though it’s fiction.

I stuck with it and watched episode 2 on iplayer straight afterwards. Agree too many scenes in dark lighting but liked it overall. Puzzled by how she could leave her mother overnight so much as she is obviously unwell (dementia?)

Watched it, got into it, wasn’t at all sure where it was going but thought main character acted well and my curiosity makes me keep going with some kind of enthusiasm couldn’t really work out what was wrong with the mother does she have Alzheimer’s ? she seemed pretty ok at the beginning then had a nurse/carer who only seemed to be with her at one point of time Not sure what all the girls aliases are going to be about
So agree it’s weird at the moment but we ll see

I can’t understand why anyone still complains about sound/mumbling etc etc use the subtitles that’s what they are for I have dreadful eyesight but still manage with watching and reading to get the full story (unless I fall asleep)

Watched this instead of Trigger Point. Another weird drama. How did she manage to inveigle herself into so many social situations? Was she not worried that when she blithely announced she had just returned from working in Japan that someone would challenge her and ask if she knew so and so, had she visited such and such a place …..?

Thank goodness for subtitles. I still didn’t have a clue what it was all about though.

Why do they all have to mumble? weren't they trained at RADA. Find it very difficult to follow.

I’m going to give Chloe another episode before I decide mainly because I quite fancy Brandon Michael Hall who plays Josh and I want to see if that relationship develops, but other than that it was a bit slow and confusing.

I watched the first 15 minutes-did not have a clue what was going on so switched to Trigger Point which was a lot better tonight although some still need teaching how to act if there is a sniper around.

Did anyone else watch it?
Is anyone else confused?

The usual slightly dark, sometimes mumbled BBC production but spotting places we know was more interesting.
