Isn't Soliciting against the law?.
Whilst sex work is clearly not a preferred career path for anyone working in a school, unless Nicky has broken the law , what should she have declared? I thought DBS checks were to find people with criminal convictions.
Am quite sure sorting male impotence issues will be another of Nurse Aggie’s specialities.
If it is intended that the problems that Tim is experiencing is part of a genuine attempt of trying to bring such medical problem to the fore, then I would say 'Well Done' to Corrie.
So many men, experiencing these problems would re-act like Tim, refusing to talk about it or seek any sort of medical assistance. Somehow, finding it totally embarrassing and feeling it is a total slur on their own masculinity.
Corrie, has been good - in the past - at bringing serious problems like this to the fore, (I think they did a good job on male rape). So, hopefully, that is their intention this time. Something/someone (not Aggie, please), will get Tim, eventually, to talk to a medical person - and it will be shown that with that assistance it can be sorted out reasonably easily and quickly. Could help a large number of couples!!!
On the question of the DBS, if Nicky never had any conviction whilst being a sex worker, AND failed to disclose this on her DBS application - then nothing would have come up. However, the failure to disclose is - in itself - a sacking offence. Cannot see she has ANY claim under Unfair Dismissal. Bet, she never got round to joining the NEU (wonder if Daniel is a member of that), so no support from the Union, who would, in any case, just confirm to her that she had no such right.
My daughter laughed when I mentioned this storyline to her, and how Nicky dressed during her short period as a TA, particularly with my description of her long flowing hair. Many SENCO pupils (who TA's work with most of the time), grab hair, even quite short cut ones. I was told it was unlikely she wold have got through even the first day without one of them grabbing and holding onto those false blonde locks!!! New TA's are always warned to tie their hair back as firmly as possible, not to wear any sort of dangly earrings, as well as to dress appropriately.
BlueBelle
How will Abies baby turn into twins Nottoold will the other one spring out of a bump that they ve been thinking was a hernia ???
I love Daisy ( very pretty lady)
Daniels not the flavour of the month is he ? Can’t imagine Max has found empathy overnight where there was none
Another who’s sick and tired if Tim abd sallys sex life
Take it in hand Tim ???
Sally and Tim’s sex life, or lack of, now Eileen and George and their nights together, TMI in my opinion.
I also cannot believe that Max has turned over a new leaf being sympathetic and well as empathetic towards people he has hurt and insulted.
I wish Sally and Tim would take a single ticket somewhere and not return because I also am totally fed up with their sex life or lack of it. I appreciate they have a problem and why but get it sorted.
Wouldn't Nicky,s job as a sex worker have been picked up when she applied for her DBS check?
oh dear, what have they done with 'nina' I liked the old nina
My daughter is a Senior TA. Highly qualified, all sorts of attendance at special courses, certificates, etc. Works entirely with serious SENCO youngsters. Often takes classes in absence of teachers, Often helps out (particularly newly qualifid) teachers to keep control.
One of her children recently started an apprenticeship at the local library aged 17 years of age and is receiving nearly the same wage as her Mum!!!!
No way could any TA salary be anywhere near enough to get a mortgage.
Our daughter is a TA. The pay is poor, the hours long and the problems if the students and their families takes its toll on her.
Nicky was also going to put a deposit on a flat, and I did wonder just how much she was earning. Having worked in a school office as an admin I was surprised at the very low salaries that Learning Support Assistants earned. They are no longer just kindly volunteer mums who wash paint brushes, they work hard for qualifications, and at the school I worked in they took classes for the teaching staff more often than they should have (in my opinion) How Nicky was going to run the show all on her own with a TA's wage I cannot imagine.
Wasn't Nicky a TA for a total of 2 weeks? I laughed when I saw her staggering out with her box of stuff after being sacked. I was a TA for over 20 years, never had a desk of my own and certainly no where to keep a large plant!
If Nicky wanted to present a complete break from her former life, not many TA’s I know have flowing blonde locks, full tanned face make up and quite low cut tops as everyday school attire.
And do most teachers do their pile of marking in the local cafe in their lunch break? Just how far away is the school, as I’m sure Amy, Asha and Summer have caught the bus to go there.
Glad that Nurse Aggie, as well as specialising in A&E, heart surgery, prem babies et al, is also hot on the diabetes front as well.
Ahh thats it - Jennie.
Thank you lemsip
I'm not keen on Daisy. Can't stand her whiny voice. She wears nice tops though. Mrs Crawshaw is obviously up for a bigger part. Why has her husband left her? I think she's actually murdered him and buried him on the Red Rec or possibly under the Platt's bedroom floor - he wouldn't be the first. Nicky will be forgiven for her earlier racy life and, encouraged by Daniel, she will get a degree and a teaching qualification and become head teacher at the school. Max will have become a barber by then, following in David's footsteps. He will cut the throat of a client whilst shaving him and henceforth become known as the Barber of Corrieville. In the meantime Tim will have discovered Viagra and he and Sally will have sailed off in the sunset to Spain leaving interfering mother-in-law behind. Abbie's baby will turn out to be twins so that Imran can have one and Abi keeps the other. Toyah will retrain as a sex worker. There, that's all sorted.
I lke 'Daisy' too, she's a relatve of jennie.
Regarding Daisy, I am wondering what her part is in the Street, yes I know she is a relative of ???? who owns The Rovers ( cant remember her name ) and she works there but I watch her with scepticism.
She is a very good actress, no doubting that, but whats she up to ????

Poor Daisy, I really like her she’s a good actress I think and a pretty girl
Yep, Tim & Sally’s sex life scenes are too cringe.
Oh no, back to Sally and Tim’s cringe-making sex life.
Just embarrassing!
?✈️
(Don’t think this is a traffic warden actually)
Ive heard that Abi is leaving ?!?!?!?!?
I watched the programme about William Roache. He looks fantastic for 90. He seems like a lovely man.
I didn’t see the programme for William Roache so this is really testing my memory now Rosina. I think there was a gap and Len Fairclough (maybe) turned it into a house!?
